Gen 5 Viper value retention after 2017 brand discontinuing

ACR - No Reserve auction 11 hours left!
The car looked like it would have had 130,000 miles not 20,000 that it has... I mean it is possible that all it needs was a really good detail.... Is the Viper OFFICIALLY ending production after 2017?
I told my wife that the car is a potential investment.... this is a car I can still drive and have fun with and at the same time not lose depreciation on... I strongly believe in 10 years I should be able to sell the car for A lot more than what I pay for it and this is American made exotic...- ViperRT98

1997 Dodge Viper RT-10
The value is subjective... The value is really supply and demand... I own the 3rd lowest production year of the RT/10 which was 1 of 379 made world wide.... I believe our value may differ unless all Viper Owners come together and not low ball each other for value... I will not want...- ViperRT98

How smart is it to buy a used Viper out of state, site unseen...
