NEW to the board in MD

whats up everyone. new to the boards here. I have an 05 srt vert. This place seems waaayyy better then any other board online for vipers. thanks to everyone for making this a nice place ....

anyone in MD area? im in central MD at the moment but have a place in orlando as well...

i used to live in frederick , lots of nice driving but way to many cops in MD.... join the vca ,, i held off for a while but joining is well worth it

I have a condo in Frederick. I live here when I'm in MD, and I have a townhouse in Orlando. Thinking about rolling down to my place down there for a while and living in the sunshine state for a bit

Welcome to VCA and the VA/MD/DE chapter. Go to

VA/MD Region of the Viper Club of America :: Virginia/Maryland Region Viper Club

and register on that site as well. There's not much action on that forum but you'll see our calendar of events. I think there is a dyno day this weekend not to far from you.

Welcome! Call 800.998.1110 and get your VCA number. Then PM me so I can get you VCA site priviliges here on the board, there is a lot you cannot see untill you join. When you pm me shoot me your email and address also so I can get you on the region email and snail mail lists as well.

thanks everyone! I faxed in my VCA membership this morning (venom) .... so thats taken care of. and when I registered on these forums I INCLUDED my vin number during registration .... and if I go into my 'user control panel' its listed in there .... so not sure why I dont have the 'owner' tag ............ somebody flip the switch for me!

The moderators manually check you out-so Private message them ASAP with your information and they will get you upgraded. Lee00blacksilverGTS is the moderator you need to contact.

oh I met up with LEE alright ..... he gave me a complimentary name change too ....

anyways .. I dont have my venom number yet, but they said they should email it to me tomorrow. I should be registered as an owner because I supplied my vin when I registered here AND with VCA .... I got a black 05 vert w/08 hood and stock everything else. Im grabbing a set of 3.33s and an exhaust immediately, then I should be set for the season ... maybe i'll get the computer mod too

I'll let the moderators address your registration issue...and name change? :dunno:

Usually we PM the moderators once we buy the Viper, and they VERY QUICKLY upgrade us to Viper Owner...not sure if I figure they'd go thru everybody who is listed as 'enthusiast' to see if they have Vipers? I think it's only common courtesy to extend yourself, as I can't see how they would otherwise know? JUST my .02 there, for what it's worth, LOL!!!

Your '05 will look absolutely FANTASTIC with that '08 hood, oops...thanx for the pic (you were one step ahead of me here!)! ~~blackmamba has an '04 with the '08 hood...looks GREAT! Your car will sound badasp with new exhaust (we have the Corsa Track Cat-Back w/B&B Stepped Headers...when car is started up in garage, the whole house shakes...LOVE it!!!

)...3.33's are something we've considered as well...maybe someday. We also have the VECII//Sean Roe is great at helping with that.
