Enthusiast
I currently have a 2023 Dodge Demon 170 with ~1,500 miles, single owner, and it still has a 7-year transferable warranty. I’ve been offered a trade for a 2015 Viper (base/SRT) with ~22k miles and 3 owners. The Viper is extremely clean and well-kept, but it’s not a higher-spec car (not a GT or ACR).
From an enthusiast standpoint, I love the idea of owning a Viper. But from an investment/value perspective, I’m a bit torn given the mileage and ownership history compared to my Demon.
For those of you who have owned or followed the Gen V market:
Thanks in advance.

For those of you who have owned or followed the Gen V market:
- Would you make this trade straight up (or even with cash on top)?
- Do you think the Viper has stronger long-term appreciation potential than the Demon 170?
- How much does the base model + 22k miles + 3 owners hurt value long-term?
Thanks in advance.
