Questions/Concerns for a sub 5k mile GTS?

I’m looking at a 97 GTS at under 5k miles. Two owners, second one hasn’t really driven it. Appears to be in great condition, and has been stored in a climate controlled garage.

Thoughts on what questions I should be asking or concerns I should have at that age and such low mileage?

Did you search the Forums? there is allot of information out there like tire age etc.

I’ve thumbed around a bunch. Just curious if there was a more concise answer of something obvious I may have missed.

Similar to my response on your last G2 thread, this car is nearly 30 years old and the bushings, gaskets etc. are going to be replaced if your want to really drive it. Tires may look new but if there older than 6-7 years old their dangerous with all the torque that motor has.

Unless you found a bargain a 5k mile B/W is going to be priced fairly high, if you plan on driving it a few thousand miles a year those will be costly depreciation miles. Good luck!
