Re: Viper(s) vs Cobra svt vid (who\'s viper is it?)
I remember guys showing up in Escort GT's. Splash stickers on the doors, platinum spark plugs, High performance plug wires and a KN. They thought they had something. Those of us that did used to laugh. This was before guys were putting the...
Re: Viper(s) vs Cobra svt vid (who\'s viper is it?)
LOL..
no need to get hostile. I just thought it was funny that the video said "owned".
I guess in hindsight, that Cobra should have had that 1000hp BEFORE he went out and got "owned" by those snakes..
I have enough to worry about on a day to day basis. As long as I can figure out what people are trying to say, I could care less about their grammar skills. If someone bothers you, ignore em. ;)
Tires on the Viper are wider, therefore, the PSI is less which means its less likely to flat spot. I've let mine sit for weeks and never noticed any flatspotting.
It looks like a luxury Viper or an "old mans" Viper. Then again, my old man has a Viper and he's old. Not sure where this car fits come to think of it.
Its from the Viperstore. I just wondered if anyone else had one. I cant tell if its fixed with a fuel door or if the whole thing lifts up on the stock hinges when you open it. My car is Black and I dont think it would look to bad on it.
I had a 2001 Z06. I would have taken it over my Viper if I had to get around say mid-ohio in the fastest way possible. I can only imagine this new Z will wipe out most anything on a road course. Having said that, I'd still take my Viper over any of them any day of the week. :2tu:
Re: How many
You might be right about that. I found out it was 7 cars built with the gold wheel option and I think they where all GTS's
I also heard the ketchup mustard car had the lowest production number amongst the black/silver and white/blue.
Im sure someone knows the answer to all...
I helped a freind get his Backyard Buddy about 6 years ago. Since I live in OH we just drove over and got it. Im not sure where they are located now, but the building was an old abandoned looking steel mill and was very dirty. I was thinking, "what the heck kinda contraption are getting?"
We put...
Re: How many
I think they might have called cars like the Ketchup Mustard car a limited production but they didnt have any plaques or production number plates in them that I recall to say whether or not they where.
You could say the 92 is a special edition since they only made what...200?
Re: How many
Would you consider the ketchup/mustard car a special edition?
Or maybe the white/blue stripe car in 96?
Or did they make to many of each to really call them "special"?
Didnt they also make one blue/whitestripe RT/10 (like the GTS)?
Also.. They made three Gen II that where red...
Im younger and I used to work out alot and play sports and I still keep in shape today... so when I'm in my Viper I get asked "who'd you used to play for" alot
One of the most common, "how fast have you had it going"
"whats it got in it" (I can believe there are people who dont know)...
I saw that JonB at parts rack has SRT Copperhead wheels available. Does anyone know if these would t fit on a 99 RT/10? The offset looks a little different to me.
thanks
Re: They\'re Everywhere
Exactly. His has every option on it and the paint was a special $3500 option. The cool thing is that you may see alot of Boxsters but you wont see many like his on the road. (at least where I live)
Re: They\'re Everywhere
My buddy has a brand new Boxster S. Cobalt Blue metallic and the 19 inch wheels. 280hp really doesnt excite me all that much (considering my SUV has more) but its a heck of a nice car and handles like its on rails. I thought 60K was a little rich for it but he's happy...
