    Viper purchase satisfaction

    6800 miles on car. Besides the recalls, oxygen sensor went out, oil leaked in 3 places, TWICE! Leaky roof resulting in wind noise. Dealer fixed it, but it I can't notice a difference between the repaired top and the old top. I am satisfied with minor mechanical problems.

    Coming up on 500 miles and first oil change

    The only thing that is harder to do an oil change with the viper than with other cars is that it is so much lower. You will need a jack that goes down to below 5 inches. Otherthan that, no harder than any other cars.

    Don't worry, I went through this a couple months ago with an 03 SRT. Check under the hood to make sure the EPA sticker certifying that it meets CA emissions standards is still there. If it has under 7500 miles it's still considered a new car and will need this. Look here for more info...

    Exactly! I can even hear the "bogging" down from my exhaust.....it doesn't gurgle like before anymore. I suspect the fact that I drove almost 8 hours in 100+ degree whether was the culprit. Let me know what the dealer says, please???? My warranty is over, so any problem will cost me money!
