A damp cloth unfortunately doesn't remove oily fingerprints, which the flocked paint loves to absorb. Put in Fram CA8093 Air Filter and 97 GTS runs like crap...
It's not the filters. Put your K&N's back in (without reconnecting any found losse wires) and I'll bet you have the same issue. I use the Fram CA8093's and have no issues. Ran dyno tests on them too. Better than OEM's and in fact bought a lifetime supply.- Ron

Just picked up B/W
18" wheels utilize lower profile tires so overall diameter is virtually the same as your OEM 17". Stronger engine is more likely the reason for the better feel.- Ron

Aftermarket HVAC control that actually works???
The amount of heat a Viper generates is considerable and well beyond a Honda Accord. No side sill cats on an Accord. At least in 1996 GTS's, there is a sight glass for AC charge checking. Always showed bubbles when my charge was low (often until the condensor was replaced) and always looked...- Ron

Early GENII cars will corrode the sills also, not from rivets but rather from the exposed fiber insulation which has an amazing ability to hold moisture up against the sill from the inside. A certain amount of driveline lash (slop) is normal and desirable as it will minimize broken components. In the shop manual it warns against tightening the clearances to remove. Admittedly seems odd to a new owner. venms96, I think you were thinking of NGR as the earlier cam's provided both...- Ron
