What's happening Viper X
I hope to see you guys soon. I'm still here just been hiding lately. And for no good reason I might add!
Take care, your car is an animal, stop feeding it!
Actually the 97 B/W are the best Vipers!! (Hey that's original)
Seriously though my car dynoed 430 HP and 505 TQ to the wheels, bone stock except K&N's!!! Since then I have added tubes, and bellanger exhaust. The older cars with forged internals lay down some power.
ACR's have stiffer...
Good Luck, you will enjoy the family.
And yes change the username. I do like Z06's and appreciate them, but now you will be a part of the VCA.
I want to see pics of a SRT coupe!!!
What ideas for 17' wheels. Not many options anymore.
Should us (fellow 17 inchers) just suck it up and buy 18's or 19's?
I am serious about the question, even though I am giggling like a school girl typing that up.
You can't leave man. You're posts are usually too interesting. Now if you buy an SRT-10 that will work. Otherwise wait for the next Gen like I am. Either way good luck to you. I say 44-47K
You're wheels painted BLACK looks good! That's why the supercharger makes sense. Good for you.
Sorry, but the shifter knob would not work for any performance driving.
Re: fix it ticket for not having front licence plate in CA!! wut a bunch of
I just had the same thing happen to me. Maybe it's because Caaalifornia!! needs money. I don't know.
Re: Chuck\'s brake upgrade
Hey what's happening Dave, I'm sorry I have missed you guys lately.
I have had a rough go, but the car is doing great. I will see everyone in January.
I hope everyone is well.
I recently went through the joy of having an aftermarket radiator installed. Because of tight fitments, we had to order a custom radiator hose that is made from flex metal material.
Anyone know how I can burp the coolent with a "stiff" upper radiator hose. Yes that's a joke, but I am serious...
Give snaps to UGR they have been working on this for a while and it's great. I have been following all the smack talking at the Alley, and believe that all of these cars raise the bar for every street/strip car out there. Including mine which lays down some serious power on the giggle gas...
This seems like a common problem for some of us Gen II owners. The wires become faulty through the grommets due to the continuous pulling, bending and stretching they do in the doors.
First off, your wire is probably cracked if things like the speakers cut's out, window won't roll up or down...
Thanks carguy07. I ended up by buying a hose for 100 bucks. This radiator ended up being an expensive install. But hey, I now have a purty blue hose in the B/W!!
Solution: custom hose was made to fit exactly.
I bought a radiator from a fellow Viper owner who posted in the classifieds. As it turns out the radiator is not a stock one when I thought it was. The dealership has the thing installed except for the upper radiator outlet is bigger by 1/4 than the stock hose. Here is where the fun has...
