    Rear glass operation on GTS - how hard is yours to lift?

    I bought a replacement set off ebay for about $35-40 and they bolted up perfectly and the hatch pops up as soon as I turn the key. Best $40 I've spent. Took about 5 minutes each side to swap them out.

    Can't wait! This is such an awesome weekend. I don't know why we don't just schedule breakfast at Frankie & Louie's. We leave Kansas City at 8 a.m. and somehow usually end up at the lake by around 9:00 a.m. That trip sure seemed to take a lot longer when I was a kid. :)

    Let me change my post to say that as of tonight, my car went 9.98 @144 mph. That was with a weak 1.59 60'. I cut a 1.47 on the next pass, but the car spun a little and I lifted, resulting in a 10.015 @ 144. Should have been a 9.8 or better. Stock suspension, stock transmission, stock...

    That's correct. They're pretty close. With a Roe on a stock motor, you're not going to see much more than 650 rwhp without heads/cam and you're not going to run over 137 mph or so. Not even that much with an average driver. With a Paxton even on a stock motor, they can make 850 rwhp or more...

    Underground Racing generally installs the Penske coilover suspension on all their big builds. Even their cars that are slammed to the ground have enough weight transfer that they dead hook. Ride in a car with stock suspension, then ride in one with the Penskes. You'll be a believer.
