Could you tell us some of those problems, please. Because, money aside, it sounds like a good way to pick up 30 hp. Also the vec2 would be used when one gets a supercharger. If you tweak the stock engine with the vec2, what risks are you taking?
Maybe they publish real world (real people) numbers. Wonder what would come up with on the Z06, unless they have already done so. Like to see some real world numbers on the Z, instead of the numbers MT and CD came up with. Their times are always to fast.
Re: Any drawbacks on buying \'03 Viper with just 7 miles?
I really wonder if that is true--unless the above post was said in jest :2tu: I say get it, if the price is right.
It really comes down to which you would rather have. A V10 or a ford 7 1/2. Since it seems (and I apologize if I am wrong) that you have about everything but a viper or off spring, who cares what you think? Also it doesn't cost 20k but about 8-15k. Then,of course, there is the uniqueness factor...
I have asked over and over, Has K&N fixed this problem??? I am still surprised that any vette could pull on a viper K&N or no--unless the filters are making your viper run that badly, in which case the SOP should pick up on that.
I know that the first ones had clutch problems. That is why I wanted to know peoples experiences. What's the deal with no warranty coverage?
If you look at all the blue books the value of this is 66000-72000 So this looks like a good price. If you can find one cheaper, more power to you. Does it have a warranty? :)
