Bob, pads did fine this time.
Chuck, it is a new track and was built with extra safety in mind, so no walls, other than the front straight where spectators hang out.
I have finally put the various footage sources together. The event was 2 weeks ago and I got to drive a Gen4 ACR. Altought that part is not on the video, all I can say is wow! :wow: It feels so light and nimble compared to my GTS, and those brakes . I want one:drul:. Thanks RJ for letting me...
I met them here in Breckenridge over the fourth. They do some traveling with them and hook up with local VCA events. It was their second year in Breckenridge. And yes, the brought their Vipers along to be in the parade with us. Nice couple.

Alright, just for you Dave, sunnyside up. And no, that is part of a landscpape wall in the back. The AC units are on the other side of the house. It does hit 95+ here sometimes.
Picked up a set of SRT 6 spokes with new PS2s.
They are really light compared to the stock 18 inchers.
They show of my SRT brakes nicely as well and have enough curves in their design to complement the GenII.
My previous stock GTS dynoed at 396 rwhp. So from 450 to 396 is a 13.64% loss, if my math is correct. My current GTS dynoed at 447 rwhp, so in theory it is 508HP at the flywheel.
I can sympathize via my old neighborhood. Speed bumps don't slow folks down, at least here where everyone drives a pickup truck or SUV. Treat it like slalom course, since you will attack each bump at an angle. Alternate the angles for each bump. See if you can improve your times every...
I don't think you'll need an alignment each time. One of the club members with an '09 ACR puts a 19/20 combo for street use and then has his 18/19 sidewinders for the track.
Unfortunately the ACR owner won't make this one. I"ll be all Gen2s.
If you have HPR video, post it on YouTube or somewhere. Always interested in seeing different vantage points.
Agreed on all your points. Especially the curbing and some closer gasoline stations. We have 7 Vipers signed for next Saturday. Should be fun. We'll put some heat on the ZR1, although at this altitude, the supercharger in the ZR1 really gives it an edge powering out of the corners.
Well it is a real problem with some 2001's. My 2002 never had any issues. And my 2001 didn't until now. Symptoms were classic spinning impeller shaft. Under load, engine temp would quickly move up to the max and then go back down at lower loads.
Thanks to reading this board for a while, I...
My stock 2002 GTS did around 400rwhp
My 2001 GTS with smooth tubes, high flow filters, T&D rockers, Belanger headers, high flow CATs and catback yielded 447rwhp
Thanks NHL. That first one from Breckenridge is my picture. That SSG ACR look alike also had a custom green/black interior and side skirts on the outside. Very sharp.
ASPIRATIONS, this is the thread you are thinking about.
Funny, I was envisioning that setup as well. But I tapered the striped from thin at front to thicker in the back as I had seen on some Comp Coupes. This way they align with the hood better IMO. I am still not sure I like it more than the SSG driver's side stripe. I saw that in Breckenridge...
I have that exact setup. Nice at idle, angry at WOT. I love it. I often get complements on how good it sounds. Maybe it's just my imagination, but it also seems to get louder and throatier as time goes by. It is loud when you start it and one of my neighbors dislikes me because of it. But I...
