Are there any Yellow Vipers with Aftermarket Wheels out there? I need ideas.

Bright body color + black centers + polished rim = perfect. Very nice. Especially with rim bolts.

GTS Blue or White SRT10: show us your aftermarket wheels...

Yah, I'd already checked out that thread... and it's full of the Gen I/II cars, residing in that sub-forum. I thought it'd be handy to have an SRT10-specific thread over in this sub-forum. Always nice to see exactly what a wheel will look like on a given body style, IMO. Mea culpa, I called...

GTS Blue or White SRT10: show us your aftermarket wheels...

Thought it might be handy to have a one-stop wheel reference guide for these "classic" paint scheme SRT10 Vipers... Especially interested in any black wheels: spokes, rim, or both. Post up your pics, gentlemen!

    Vipers for sale

You're right... that one was literally minutes from my office! But I'm not looking for red. D'oh!

    Vipers for sale

Speak for yourself; I don't have one yet :( As for eBay, when you inspect completed auctions you see that only 10% or less of these listings end in a sale. Hard to gauge true supply/demand and pricing movement, I think. Those of you that already have the dream car in your garage... I'm...

    Car Shipping Precautions

First of all, use covered transport. That may be obvious, but I'm just sayin'... If your car will be shipped with others on a "stacked" trailer, you want your car on top... immune from potential fluid leakage from someone else's resto project. Ensure that no loose items (extra wheels, etc.)...

NorCal: who's got a seat lowering kit?

Thanks to all, and Dan in particular. I'm set on a Gen III or IV; I have a 1998 project car in my garage that's starting to have all the little annoying age-related problems (headlight motors, weatherstripping, blah, blah...) and that's influencing me to choose a more recent Viper, probably '06...

NorCal: who's got a seat lowering kit?

...and before everyone lights up a torch, I already tried to post this in the Northern Cali section and the site wouldn't let me... Anyway, I've been in contact with the local VCA chapter (Maurice is the man!) and so far we haven't been able to find a Gen III or Gen IV with a seat lowering...

Gen IV vs. Gen III: leg and headroom?

Sure wish they'd take the measurements from the 95th percentile of the Viper owners population and design the car around that, instead!

Gen IV vs. Gen III: leg and headroom?

It's not so much about comfort; it's about being able to properly operate the pedals! My one autocross session in a Gen III was brutal; splayed knees and headliner at forehead level. I'm looking exclusively at coupes, so that makes it worse...

Paxton vs PD Blower - my Z06 vs my Viper

This really is a cool comparison, between the V8+Roots blower and the V10+centrifugal... we're all used to seeing SBC, Ford, and Hemi V8s and the impressive low rpm rwtq for positive displacemtnt roots/screw blowers. Much more area under the torque curve when compared to centris with same peak...

Gen IV vs. Gen III: leg and headroom?

For all of you Gen IV owners that had (or still own) a Gen III, can you give me an idea of the headroom and legroom on these cars? In another thread ("Save my dream car for me") I (surprisingly) didn't see a unanimous answer on this point... so I thought I'd just ask guys that have lengthy...

Tall guys: save my dream car for me...

Y2K10, great info. Thanks. takidd, I'd like to take you up on that. I roll past Burlingame every weekday and work in South San Fran. PM me and I'll give you my email. Thanks!

Tall guys: save my dream car for me...

Wow, I'm kinda shocked that anyone over 6'4" could drive one of these. I guess one of the factors may be model-specific differences in seat and/or pedal adjustability. Which years are best? I've also read that installation of the 2" seat drop kit adds headroom but decreases legroom. True...

Tall guys: save my dream car for me...

Hey, all... Viper is at the top of my wishlist, but the Gen III that I (barely) drove a few years ago had me convinced that I'd never fit it one. Knees splayed around the steering wheel made for waayyy unnatural clutch use. Sat in a new ACR and it seemed to be just as cramped. But a...
