Car Shipping Precautions
First of all, use covered transport. That may be obvious, but I'm just sayin'... If your car will be shipped with others on a "stacked" trailer, you want your car on top... immune from potential fluid leakage from someone else's resto project. Ensure that no loose items (extra wheels, etc.)...- rw99

I'm set on a Gen III or IV; I have a 1998 project car in my garage that's starting to have all the little annoying age-related problems (headlight motors, weatherstripping, blah, blah...) and that's influencing me to choose a more recent Viper, probably '06...- rw99

...and before everyone lights up a torch, I already tried to post this in the Northern Cali section and the site wouldn't let me... Anyway, I've been in contact with the local VCA chapter (Maurice is the man!) and so far we haven't been able to find a Gen III or Gen IV with a seat lowering...- rw99

Gen IV vs. Gen III: leg and headroom?
It's not so much about comfort; it's about being able to properly operate the pedals! My one autocross session in a Gen III was brutal; splayed knees and headliner at forehead level. I'm looking exclusively at coupes, so that makes it worse...- rw99

Paxton vs PD Blower - my Z06 vs my Viper
This really is a cool comparison, between the V8+Roots blower and the V10+centrifugal... we're all used to seeing SBC, Ford, and Hemi V8s and the impressive low rpm rwtq for positive displacemtnt roots/screw blowers. Much more area under the torque curve when compared to centris with same peak...- rw99

Tall guys: save my dream car for me...
Wow, I'm kinda shocked that anyone over 6'4" could drive one of these. I guess one of the factors may be model-specific differences in seat and/or pedal adjustability. Which years are best? I've also read that installation of the 2" seat drop kit adds headroom but decreases legroom. True...- rw99
