IF I ever wrecked my car I probably wouldn't come on here and talk about it. According to many commenters, anyone that wrecks there car is an idiot that doesn't know how to drive.
Hey, even good drivers wreck their cars sometimes.
Maybe they are a good driver but just not good enough for...
I will echo some of the comments above.
That is not unreasonable. The factory has an upgrade for Gen IIIs that they say will put out 800 already.
. Thank you! I've always liked that a Viper is a Viper. I don't like the idea of different "models" either.
Amen!
Well, I wouldn't say watered down...
They are very sharp looking. I have one on my car. The only thing I don't like is You can only get it with the Gen1/2 style lettering. Gen3 style lettering is different. You can order the frame with the appropriate logo, but the Viper lettering is the same no matter what.
Side story: We all get the "is it a V12?" question. But this guy took it a bit further.
Yep, I've gotten that same conversation several times. It's even harder when the guy is with his "buds" and trying to act like he knows everything there is to know about cars. You did a nice job of handling...
Very Nice!! Come on now, you have to admit the Gen3 is nicer than the Gen2. When I was looking to buy I drove several Gen1 and Gen2s, but when I found my Gen3 I jumped on it. Even though it was more money, it was a much nicer car. (actually, I do want to own a Gen1 or 2 now.... in ADDITION to...
So.... He admits the Viper is the top car in the field but he is AFRAID of it and thus doesn't drive it to it's limits. Although it beat every car tested, he declares the Vette winner because "it wasn't that far back".
I think the real problem is SRT is not willing to "grease the wheels". If...
Polynesian cultural center is a must. Stay for the Luau.
Waikiki beach, but be aware, there is a "gay" section.
Perl Harbor
Punch Bowl - It's a WWII graveyard/memorial.
Haunama bay is great snorkeling. The native Hawaiians claim that place though and actually shut it down for a...
I've heard a lot about the terrible cabin heat in Vipers but I have put 25k miles on my car now and I have NEVER thought the heat was a problem. Yes, you can feel the warmth. But it's just not that bad imo.
I am a moderator at another (non-car related) board. When we moderate something we leave the post but delete the offensive wording. Then we put a note, in red type, in the post that says "Moderated for offensive language", or what ever the reason is. That way everyone knows what's going on. Also...
I have to admit, I've always had good service and good value from VPA. I still don't believe it should be in competition with our supporting venders. That part I don't like.
I believe the op has accomplished what he desired. To get things fired up again. By his lack of further posting in this thread I guess he is sitting back, sipping a drink, and enjoying his work. Nice job, troll.
Well, the op never did get all of his questions answered, so let me see if I can give it a try. Feel free to correct any mistakes, thanks.
1. WHO WILL BE ACTING AS PRESIDENT OF NEW CLUB? There is no new club (that I am aware of) at this point, so there is no president.
2. IS THE NEW...
Re: what year viper was the best built
Thank you!! This thread is making me rethink my position on the "mods shouldn't close threads" debate. :rolaugh:
