Is the Big Discount (MSRP Lowering) available on the upcoming 2015s?

The starting MSRP for '15s is the same as '14s adjusted, ~$85k

CAAP: When does it come back online to begin producing 2015s?

I don't see how you guys can figure out what he is talking with his incredibly terrible command of the English language. It is like someone through a dictionary in a blender and out came words.

CAAP: When does it come back online to begin producing 2015s?

Chrysler is printing cash at the moment. If they want to invest in the Viper they can - easily.

Glad to know you have insight into how Tim is budgeting for the Viper going forward.

Of which you can already get discounts off sticker for since order banks are wide open.

Dodge preparing supercharged, Convertible Vipers for 2016?

They are all new cars listed. Quite a few 2013's, so yeah a lot of 2yo stock.

Dodge preparing supercharged, Convertible Vipers for 2016?

There are ~350 Vipers on Cars.com, only 60 are SRT models. Dodge needs to toss some dealer cash out there to get rid of those GTS models. They are overpriced (still) and aren't helping. If they could get the price of the GTS down to $80k I think they would all clear out in no time. They need...

I just wish Dodge would give some input to its direction that it is going on.

CAAP: When does it come back online to begin producing 2015s?

There are around 350 unsold vipers on cars.com only 60 are SRT models. There is a huge glut of GTS still for sale. Thats the problem. Will be interesting to see what the SRT inventory drops to before they start building again.

13 or 14 trade in values

The dealer will simply write the car off as a loss. If they are making $5m in profit a year, they can eat $40k to pay less to uncle sam.

    85k for a GTS

Because they want them off their lots. No one is going to be paying near MSRP for a two model year old car. Period.

    85k for a GTS

Lots of vipers on lots that will be covered in snow in a month. Good deals to be had by all :)

    85k for a GTS

I'll be happy to be wrong, but the sales aren't going to continue to be as brisk as they were in Sept. I think more will be sold but a lot of dealers will still be left holding cars. A lot of '13 loaded GTS near me. If a dealer offered me $85k on one of them I'd be all over it. Not going to...

Helped Dodge out to start the quarter !

The car is much more tame than previous generations, in the fact that ESC lets the Viper remind you that it can kill you, it just doesn't go off and do it.

    Ceramic Blue TA2

Ceramic Blue isn't a color option for it AFAIK and the TA2 isn't up for order right away as well (I could be wrong)

13 or 14 trade in values

The lesson here is: The options on top of the base car are worth $0 in resale. Period. Option the Base SRT out carefully, because you won't get any ROI for them if you plan to hold on to it for a short period of time. A stripper SRT is the best value, because it will lose the least.
