There are ~350 Vipers on Cars.com, only 60 are SRT models. Dodge needs to toss some dealer cash out there to get rid of those GTS models. They are overpriced (still) and aren't helping.
If they could get the price of the GTS down to $80k I think they would all clear out in no time. They need...

Will be interesting to see what the SRT inventory drops to before they start building again.
I'll be happy to be wrong, but the sales aren't going to continue to be as brisk as they were in Sept. I think more will be sold but a lot of dealers will still be left holding cars.
A lot of '13 loaded GTS near me. If a dealer offered me $85k on one of them I'd be all over it. Not going to...
The car is much more tame than previous generations, in the fact that ESC lets the Viper remind you that it can kill you, it just doesn't go off and do it.
The lesson here is: The options on top of the base car are worth $0 in resale. Period. Option the Base SRT out carefully, because you won't get any ROI for them if you plan to hold on to it for a short period of time. A stripper SRT is the best value, because it will lose the least.
