    Have you tried the GM part number also? ( Mopar is 4874459 and from GM as 12346190 according to Tom F&L GoR) However, I'd guess that if you are saying the Mopar version has been discontinued, the GM would be also.

    Wheel well gap

    The ride height should be about 1/2 in lower in front versus the rear in order to keep the designed handling characteristics. (Per Mark Jorgensen and the service manual.) Not that something else wouldn't work for individual driving conditions.

    Brain fart??????? Search out the multitude of posts there are about overheating problems on Gen II with electric fans, versus a tiny amount on the Gen 3 with hydraulic fans. They move a LOT more air.
