Finally!!
Can't wait to see what options are going to be available for us. Just realized that this might just make the Gen 4 value and market pricing go up :2tu:

I'm not sure but I'm guessing Dan is talking about he Sprint Booster.
http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/655862-Gen-4-Drive-By-Wire-Band-Aid-Fix....Sort-Of?highlight=sprint+booster+trackaire
I've done a review of it. It does NOT get rid of the drive by wire throttle lag/dead spot, but it...
I don't understand why I haven't received an invite to SRT All Access.....they know I'm a SRT owner :dunno::dunno::dunno:
Does every SRT owner get an invite....how does that work? Maybe it's in today's mail, lol.
Once I saw it on one of the forums about 2 weeks ago I did call the number...
The only reason I bought my Gen 4 over a ZO6, ZR1, etc was because of the strong 2008 Ring record time. I knew there was more left in the car after watching that video. I don't need to have a car with a Ring record, the Ring record (or more importantly the Ring time) tells me the car has good...
If you're still on the island, the R8 makes even more sense because it would be much more useful and enjoyable in sudden downpours. Although the Viper is one of my favorite looking cars, I don't know if it would be my first choice where you live. Many prefer the R8 over the V10 version claiming...
Please know that I was in no way insulting you or your product and if it came off that way I apologize. I am actually very excited with what you have done. I do understand the workmanship and effort it takes to make the weave, texture, gloss and fitment perfect. You obviously have accomplished...
That looks epic painted. I use to to think carbon fiber weave was so cool....If this becomes available for the Gen 4 first thing I'm doing is painting it to match. Carbon fiber add-on's left unpainted are looking too ricer to me.
When a vehicle has lines and curves like the Viper, anything that...
I've got 3.55 gears and it's pretty much the same for me. In a straight line roll race, the extra shifting does cost some time as opposed the Macs super fast shifting auto and tight gearing. Its high rpm capability and multiple gear choices keeps the acceleration very linear. But, I have the...
A lot of the Mercedes cars have sensors that tell you the condition of the brakes.....you end up with constant reminder on your electronic information center that I believe can only be cleared by the dealer. My wife only made it to around 23000 miles on her ML550 before the pads needed...
My thoughts exactly.....throw some money towards the project and get it done. A halo car means more than a bean counter will ever be able to calculate. Hell, Ford is still milking the Shelby wins at Le Mans and Mustang models for who knows how long. They took a chance, spent the money and will...
Saw this in car and driver:

7:08 is very fast for a car of that weight. Congrats to Nissan if it is true.

Just spent the week at SEMA and had some eye opening discussions with people who work with Chrysler and Ford supplying them specific parts and programs. I'm not naming names, but think of companies like Roush and Shelby. Apparently the thinking at Chrysler and Ford is to get away from supporting...
Bingo....the Ford GT guys think this is gospel (the part of the motor cylinder wearing since the pistons are moving up and down due to vibration when the car is in gear).....if the car is moving around that much you've done a terrible job strapping it down.
I love having a winch centrally...
I think we have to be very careful with the "forged" pistons in the Gen 5....If I remember correctly they are not of the highest quality or type. I'm sure Dan will clarify their potential for a FI application. I would
definitely want SRT to clarify what they mean and what abuse the pistons can...
Good for VividRacing and Seibon!!! What an disappointment Mopar has turned out to be. I could see there being issues if the company was broke, but the last two years Chrysler has been making money. No excuses for the lack of customer product support.
I'd love to see the car next week, where...
It appears this forum needs to have some sort of system that makes you take and pass a breathalyzer test before logging on. I'm convinced some of you are way over .08%

I know, I can't wait. I'm not sure if they will do this, but potentially if they are willing to run the tracks backwards, you could end up with 10 to 12 distinctly different full size race track configurations. Should be exciting times in the next couple of years.
Cheers,

If you think Laguna Seca is a fun track, check out the new Thunderhill West track being built. This will give us two tracks to run on. Connect them together and you end up with a deforested Nurburgring....lol

"If" the car was easy to modify and proven so (remember all the Viper covers on Road & Track, Motor Trend, etc with Hennenssey Vipers pumping out big numbers?), I'd venture that sales would be at least double of what they are today. That is the kind of free advertising that lasts a long time in...
Delivered horsepower is not as important as potential horsepower (look at the Ford GTs). Even though many will never modify their cars, the potential to do so will increase value and resale down the road.
