    Nice run!! Don't worry about the launch, really won't make much difference at all on mile plus runs with your hp level. The only time it will matter is if you're racing side by side and the first one to cross the line wins. Your speed will pretty much be the same through the traps. Cheers, George

    As a current Viper owner, I can give you some honest reasons as to why I did not buy a Gen 5 yet: -I have a modded Gen 4, which is probably faster than a stock Gen 5. So for me, there is no performance advantage to justify moving up to only 640 hp. I also really love the looks of a Gen 4...

    Tom, Don't know if this helps, but on the Gen 4 if you try to left foot brake while trying to accelerate (like on a road course) the car goes into a limp mode power-wise. Makes me wonder if the issue is not actual front/rear speed differential but if the computer is seeing the front tires not...

    Assuming you didn't get into an accident, I don't think breakage is the issue here....looks like "defect". What is the MOPAR warranty on defects and manufacturer issues? This is obviously not a "for racing use only" part so I would think it would be no different than buying it at the dealer...
