Choice comes down to preference and how you like your power served.
There's no reliability issues on a properly sorted SC package, and a well built all motor V10 should last fine if treated right.
For all out road racing there are serious issues for a SC car, but that does not impact on their...
I like it from that angle - but it'd be better with the top off or the soft-top up.
That hardtop gets uglier as you walk around the side and by the time you get to the rear three-quarter - it's time for a dry retch and look for somewhere to lay down a decent lawn pizza
looks like a bubble and...
Hey Mike - I just noticed this - look at your car pic in your avatar - I swear I can see a face in it....
the headlights are the eyes, the snake head is smiling (the grille) with the nostril vent between the eyes....
I'm not ON anything promise - its the lighting and angle of the shot - take a...
Re: I\'m switching to AMSOIL
I'm sure both Mobil One and Amsoil are good products.... but I have to agree with Tom and Joe to some extent - the Amsoil thing is too complicated and hard for me to be bothered educating myself on it
personally i just couldn't bring myself to leave oil in a car...
Heffner has found a hyd. lifter that suppresses pump up much better than the stock ones - ph 410 766 2800.
The stock lifters suck once you go to a bigger cam or add boost and rpm past 5500rpm.
Re: I\'ll probably get crucified for this, but I traded the Viper on a new Z06
You didn't!!!!

just kidding :D
enjoy your Vette - they're good cars too
I'm not a betting man - but I'd bet my wifes entire soft toy collection that if Formula One rules changed and they allowed them to run 8 litre V10 engines they'd make more power and go faster than the current 3 litre engines.
Had to think about that one for a while - but when my one brain...
A bently is a fine grand tourer
great for old farrts to impress young ladies that are dazzled by money
or distinguished gentlemen in the latter half of their life who want speed and comfort but would probably put their back out or ruffle their immaculate hair style in an SRT10.
any more...
The basic package works with the stock longblock and goes plenty strong for most people... but if you want more then Heffner upgrades the engine to forged pistons etc to make sure the engine will live at higher power levels.
From there the possibilities are many - ranging from more boost to...
Great points guys
and Cobra4B - is the 4.6 really 600lb? wow that's disgusting!
You can build a 572 or 600+ cubic inch Mopar wedge that is 460lb ringing wet using alloy - and guess which one will go better between that and the 4.6?
even a twin turbo street 4.6 wouldn't make the power of a...
Some very valid points - the pushrod engine is defintely not dead for street applications as they are well suited to making great power and torque over sensible street rpm ranges.
In addition it is a great point about looking at PHYSICAL size and WEIGHT compared to Cubic Capacity.
My friend...
Re: A\\F Ratio on Paxton car?
Unless you get a bad tank of gas you should be fine. A knock sensor is a great idea in case that happens.
11.5 on a dyno often works out to 12.5 on the road on boosted cars for some reason - but anything richer than an actual 11.5 is washing your bores wasting...
lol Joe - actually there was one of those except it was 500 cubes not 800. It was called a McGee engine - developed in Australia for Top Fuel. It was fast as heck - but the smaller moving parts couldn't take the 7000hp like the big heavy Hemi parts could.
On race gas this would have been a...
left field but very true!
Nothing humbles the ego quicker than meeting a pro at the track and going head to head
I think driving schools are a great investment
what would be the top 10 things you have done that have made the biggest diffence on the dyno or your track times?
Think of it as a package shopping list with one aim - the 10 things that got you the biggest difference.... ignore price - just results in your opinion of order.
If there was a...
I'm sure this has been done before - but things change so lets see...

Re: Difference on 2.5\" vs 3\" exhausts and tubes
Plan for the future - that'll help you decide.
If you wish to stay essentially stock - go for 2.5" - it'll be quieter and less prone to drone or waking neighbors
If you plan to do other mods later - the 3" will flow plenty. It'll sound more...
