    Yes, I believe it is from date of service. My 08's warranty expires in April this year so it seemed like a good deal especially since you hear about window regulators and window glass breaking. ViperJon, Yes it is a Chrysler Max Care. I live in Colorado so would never be near that dealer...

    Check out http://www.dodgeextendedwarranty.net/ They are a Dodge dealer in Long Island. I just bought a 7/70 Max care for my 08 and it was like $1200. Received the package from Chrysler with all the documentation and policy the other day.

    +1 on this. The hood on the Gen 3/4 makes it so much easier to work on engine than the clamshell hood my Gen 2. I hit my head on that dang thing more times than I could count.

    Are you disappointed side exhaust will return?

    I like the side exhausts but they can be problematic at race tracks that have sound limits. This is especially true for cars with modified exhausts. I wish someone would come up with an easy way to divert the exhaust away from where ever the sound police are stationed. Owners of other cars...

    Just heard from Coloviper. It has not yet passed. He is waiting on installation of new cats as it is believed that his high flows are no longer up to the task. If it fails again after new cats he will apply for a waiver in Colorado.

    Call DC Performance. I can't see why a Gen 3 is different than a Gen 4. You only have to cut the line from the valve cover to the airbox and insert the seperator. Mine is mounted on cross bar in front of the engine. You need to be able to access the drain on the bottom.

    Not unusual. Under braking oil sloshes forward in the valve covers. Some of it makes its way into the make up air line (the one that goes from the valve cover to the airbox). You should install an oil/air separator. They are available from DC Performance and are smog legal. It is...

    I do not believe the Viper has a PCV. It uses a measured orifice instead.
