This may be a silly question (based upon my limited knowledge) but here it is...
Would it make a difference if you use a Mustang dyno (with load) vs. a dynojet to adjust the A/F mixture?
The reason I ask is that my heads are with Greg Good as we speak and I want to make sure the subsequent...
I would check the line pressures in the front to see if they are equal first using something like the pressure gauge I got from Stainless Steel Brakes

At least that would tell you where to begin to focus. I also have Tom's rear brake...
There was an SCCA event here in Topeka this summer where a guy (pharmicist) with his new Porsche GT2 went off track.
It wouldn't have been a big deal but he tried to save it and went straight across the track to the other side and right into a concrete wall whereupon the car (gas tank in...
You might try eliminating the proportioning valve...I did and feel the additional rear braking was even better I also have the 40 mm rear calipers from Tom).
No rear wheel lockup before fronts and I track the car.
Re: Kerry to Conceed @ 1:00 PM
And job outsourcing has nothing to do with Bush...even Kerry said he couldn't do anything about it.
The fact is, as more countries come out of the "dark ages", adopt a capitalist approach and compete with us in the labor market, outsourcing will continue.
The...
The tricky part of the maneuver is knowing when to straighten the front wheels after countersteering. You have to feel when the wheels have regained traction or risk the car going in the opposite direction.
It's good to practice in an empty parking lot or other similar open area when it's wet...
Anybody do this?
Racetech says it can fit (model RT4009HRV) without hitting the door although some fabrication to the sliders need to be done.
Also said it's a fixed mount.
I suspect it happens more often than people admit this time of year as the weather turns colder.
I know I've felt the car begin to slide under similar conditions (usually when tires are still cold and trying to pull out quickly while turning) but have been fortunate to catch it in time.
It's a...
N CHARG,
Motul will help but won't be enough.
The proper brake ducting will help alot.
I also had to add a brake fluid recirculating valve to stop it all together.
I used to run sport cups on my GTS but was informed by Bobby Archer that these were now difficult to get (I have no separate verification of that assertion) so I switched to Michelin slicks for Viper Days (allowed in super-mod).
Michelin has me confused most of the time.
Could the gauge be off?
I usually run a quart low at the track since when I fill it, I then have to empty the puke can after the next session anyway.
As you know though, it's sometimes difficult to find a level spot when parked at some of these tracks so I might not have gotten an accurate...
The radiator's on my to-do list this winter. I have the ACR adaptor on already.
I wondered if the high engine heat was responsible and if a heavier weight oil would help.
What about 15W-50?
I noticed at Hallett this past weekend that my oil pressure, which started out at 40 - 50 on startup dropped to about 20 after running the car hard on the track. It then came back up on cooldown.
I don't recall this happening on other track days but maybe I was inattentive?
I used 10w30 Mobil...
Re: Alice\'s Top 10 Reasons for Trading for a C6
I agree there's no comparison between the two...but...apart from looking awesome, I want my car to be the fastest road car under $100K.
The new ZO6 will be 500 HP according to writeup in the latest Autoweek. You can bet it will be lighter than...
