    Gen 2 Wheel Question

Not sure what cryogenic and electrolyte has to do with powder coating. The powder coating material is blended, extruded, grinded ,etc and then applied through an electrostatic process. Electrolyte ( electrolytically) has to do with liquid/molten material and the grinding process is a...

Porsche Type: Brake Air Deflector 96 GTS

Bill is 100% right, nothing better than having a good brake duct. The tricky part is to make sure than the incoming air is directed to the center ( the open part) of the rotor and not at the side of the rotor. The air cool the rotor by going, from the inside out, through the vanes. it's also...

    GT2, 998 recall opinion wanted

The recall is good forever, meaning no expiration date but, it's a different story for the parts needed to do it, the manufacturer do not have a obligation to stock them forever and once they are NLA ,you're screwed. As some other have suggested, you should get all the recall parts for free...

Modifry Shift Beeper installation in GTS

Am I missing something here? The engine computer has a rev limiter so, the only way to over rev the engine is if you make a shifting error and ,light, beeper or whatever is not going to change that. I do use a shift light in my race cars but, the purpose is not to avoid over reving the...

The bracket is part of the lower A arm and is not sold separately. As for the fuel filter, are you sure that it is not an after-market? The only filter listed is part # 5017 081 AA and go inside the fuel tank on the fuel pump pick-up. Luc.

    Electrical problem

There is a battery temperature sensor that adjust the regulator output depending on the battery temperature but I really doubt that it is the problem. 2 things points to a bad connection/battery, the voltage regulator put out 16 volts and you still have lights flickering and change in headlamps...

    Electrical problem

Sound like a bad ground connection. Double check the connection between the battery - post and cable and the cable and grounding point on the frame. AB Custom Viper Spark Plug Wires - Review and Pics

Ron: Technically speaking, your engines do not have COP ( Coil On Plug) but rather CNP (Coil Near Plug) as a lot of GM engines have. COP do not have any spark plug wire since the coil is right on top of the plug . ( Jaguar V8 engines being a good example.) Luc 00GTS

    Slicks vs DOT race tires

Slicks will be faster than DOT but, if you have never been on the track B4, you should start on regular street tires, they will be plenty fast enough and give you better feedback until your driving skills progress to the point that the car/tires is the limiting factor and not you the driver.
