Anyone have experience with Lingenfelter twin turbo z06?

OK, not much help here, maybe I am asking the wrong forum....I know there are a lot of former vette owners on board, so what are the good vette forums?

Anyone have experience with Lingenfelter twin turbo z06?

I agree, I prefer the viper too but to get the brakes and handling of a modded z06, you would have to spend a lot more money. I know that people say TT or SC'ed cars are harder to drive and I do not pretend to be a pro racer, I just love boost and the rush it provides and if the power transition...

Anyone have experience with Lingenfelter twin turbo z06?

I know of one for sale and was thinking it would be a good track car for the money. I know they weigh quite a bit less than the viper and owner claims 575rwhp. My guess is it will outperform a stock gen II on the track but wondering about modded cars? Not trying to stir the pot here, or...

Question about back-firing sound when I let off the gas.

One of my favorite sounds, especially in tunnels or sound walls.

    Awesome Video!!

Manny, that must have been a blast. Your car looks and sounds great. Can't wait to see what you do to the SRT10!

    Trade My GTS

Now, now boys, lets not fight. I love them both but the point about braking is one of the many reasons I will go for srt to replace my gen II. 60 to 0 is something like 40' less. Last time I checked, a lot of bad stuff can happen in 40'. Having a better suspension and a workable top makes up for...

    Suspension upgrade questions......

Though I don't have my car yet,(soon) I know I would like to upgrade the suspension as one of my first mods. I think the coilovers that adjust for ride height, and rebound would be very helpful to this end. Additionally I am wondering how many srt owners have switched their run flats for...

New Product Release: SRT 10 Billet Aluminum Flywheel

Dan, looks good, what will these do to warranty with DC? Does the lighter mass of this wheel increase stress or wear anywhere up or downstream? thanks

Well, its getting closer to srt time for me!!

On stock cars, both used, it seems to be about 5 or 6k. 03 used to 04 new will be about 10k. Since I know I will want headers, exh. and maybe rims, it seems like used 03 will work best for me. However, if there are any compelling reasons to go for 04 I will pony up. So Dr Dave and Fred, besides...

Well, its getting closer to srt time for me!!

Honing in on the right deal, but still considering 03 or 04. I am leaning toward 03 and using the extra money to mod it(a must, eh?) Anyway, i know there are some headlamp problems for some 03 and what else? Are all the problems that folks have had with their 03's been taken care of by DC? Any...

    High Flow Cats+B&B catback???

Have to agree with Joe, exhaust sound is one of the most subjective issues and one that gets huga attention on this and every board I belong to. Go to a place where you can listen to many of the types you are considering, and take a listen. But even then, it depends on what type of cats...

    0-100-0

No, that was the fastest they have tested. I am sure the modern superbikes are quicker now than they were in 94.

SRT 10 smokes some pretty heavy machines here. Especially when you consider the $$investment! The line above the Enzo is a Kawaski ZX9R bike.

The line above the Enzo, at 11.5 is a Kawasaki ZX 9R bike.

Interesting line up. Sorry if this is a repeat but I have not seen it here before. Will post on SRT board also. Viper stack up pretty well indeed.

srt10 and rt10 pics side by side

I think its very cool that each, imho, have their superior design points and yet both are totally badasss designs that distinguish themselves on any road. thanks all for the great pics. While we are at it, any silver side by side pics?

Dean,I agree, especially in black. The one in that pic is oozing snakeness. Like "back the f... off, hissssssssss"

How do you like your SRT10? Looks? performance? fit finish?

Not only new model 05/06 but makeover scheduled for 04, both of which should bring the prices down.

    Diminished Value

500, I just finalized my settlement yesterday. My company specifically states they do not cover diminished value but there were some pretty gray areas that we hassled over for weeks. End result, no go. I ended up taking the settlement and sold the car to an enthusiat that fixes wrecked vipers...
