I have the Balanger headers with Corsa. I have no cats though. If your going to go this route you need a new set of cats to hook from your balanger headers to the corsa. I had Lou Balanger make me a set to do just that. The connection I don't believe will work for with Roe HF Cats. If you do go...
Ok I will see what I can get for you. Im sure I can get clips of the front straight and I should be well into the 100"s on the drive by. Outside idle and rev too. Not sure on the 30/60 but Ill see what I can post for you. Give me a few weeks and Ill jump back on with what I ge for you.
What kind of clip do you need. I will be at Mid Ohio race track in two weeks and Im sure I can get you some drive by sounds as I go down the front straight. Also at idle too. Is that what your looking for?
I have the Balanger Headers with Corsa Exhaust. I have had it with cats and without. Mine is on a tunned GenIII
Not sure what it would sound like on a GenIV
I remember when I was in the market for a Viper. People always put in there ads about how the car has never been tracked. I didn't know what that ment but it seemed to be such a bad thing and important enough of a selling point too advertise about. It became something I wanted to see whenever I...
On track I use the RED arrow as my shift light. I try to be in the middle of my shift or at least I have it down now that my hand hits the knob just as the light comes on. Idea is to shift up there so you end up in the highest power (rpm) band on the next gear that you can. I have not heard of...
Coming from someone who was used to driving a Suburban and Dodge truck with no prior sports car experience, I say yes it's dangerous. So before I get beat up on for that remark pause and think. Would you say buy a gun to someone and not at least recomend them to get a little training? Owners...
How far is that from Anna Maria Island?
I ask becasue I will be Vacationing there shortly and I think thats close. Might be able to pickup and drive em home on the trailer?
Us a Pyromater that has a small pin that goes into the tire just enought to give you the internal temps at or near the belts. I have seen some people use the laser temp readers and they do the surface temps and not all that accurate in my book unless its right in the pit. When you come off the...
Get a good Pyrometer and measure the temps accross the tire (NOT the surface temp!) Keep a log of tire temps, pressure cold/hot etc. With any tire just work up to the limit of adhesion on the track. Don't go 100% on lap one but work up to it and let the car and "sotp" tell you if its not holding...
Im with Bill on Bondurants track. The experience and learning was seriously awesome but the track realy is not that similar to others and honestly not in all that good of shape. Only school I have been to that really focused on trail braking. Mid-Ohio's School is almost as good and that track is...
Ok so my dream car has just been announced as the Next VCA Raffle car in the latest magazine!! When can I enter and I need details like NOW!!! Thats my car dang it and don't be letting anyone but my ticket win.....:nono: :rolaugh:
Since most have already said what needs to be said I won't repeat it. I have been to Bondurants in Arizona and I have been to Viper days and Mid-Ohio' School etc. To ME (IMO) the Viper is just boring on the street, pretty to look and hear but unless your breaking laws and running from cops it's...
Ohh No..... My baby got painted RED? Ahhhhhhhh :rolaugh: That just took 50hp and 65ftlb of torque off my car :lmao: Seriously though, thats awesome you can Photoshop like that. Wish I had more backgroung with that program and I would have put it to good use too. Let me know if you want the...
Had it happen to me. I believe its a yellow 20Amp fuse. Mine would blow due to a short I had in a secondary O2 on the passanger side. replace fuse and all happy until I hit the right bump that would move the wires and trip the fuse. Anyway I fixed the issue, my reverse selenoide was fine but it...
Actually it was a great weekend (I didnt get to stay for all of it) Had a couple sessions get rained out on us but overall it was sun and fun! I'll let you know when the group of us go back up again.:2tu: Love to have you out! The poor porsche club got a lesson muscle car madness :D
Uhh Yea I was on Cups this weekend in the rain......... Lets just say KY Jelly has about the same stickiness wet as mine did;). I think PS2's are a better rain tire. However if the track is just spotted with some seepage the cups are great and R6'S if the track is dry. IMHO anyway.
I have two sets of ACR wheels. I use both for the track and I got them from JohnB. for an excellent price! I have my Cups on one set and my Hoosier R6's on the other. John gets what he cals "blems" in every once in a while and thats what I have purchased from him. Not sure where the blem is but...
Only handling issue you will have is that it handles better:D The ACR wheels are just sidewinders (been out since 05). the GenIII 275front would present a good bit of understeer. 295's seem to balance it out more and you get better braking etc. I may even try out a set of 305 up front some time...
Thanks Dan
I have a local race shop putting together a cooler for me and installing it after next weekend.
Does the T6060 have heat issues? I have not heard much overheating problems in the T56 and a lot of comp coupes don't even run a cooler for them (at least thats what I have read)...
Yes that's where you attach your upper harnesses at but also access to the hoops. You can reach back in there with a small 1/4 inch type rachet and tighten the vert latch down. Its not tough just a little twisting to reach back in there.
