Its been that way for years. Before I bought a new 01 I wanted the color black. Since there was no color black in 01, I had no trouble finding 2000 black RT/10s & GTS'. I even had a dealer call me a few times trying to make a deal. Instead I picked a beautiful new 01 saphire blue RT/10...
I have three cats, same problem. I put the top down, use a soft car cover to cover the whole car, place extra blankets on the trunk and hood and finish off with 3 large flatten cardboard boxes. Now cats cannot damage finish even if they jump on car, have no lint on convt top and no dust on...

This is a RADICAL design??!
Are you saying this Viper SRT is too "refined" next to thr Vanquish?
Sorry Russ but I don't agree! The Viper SRT looks 10xs better than the Vanquish!
The National calendar isn't kept up to date. I found that out last year.
I'm already making plans for two weeks vacation with Sept 24 to 28 included.
I hope those dates don't change.
Fadi, I purchased a 03 brand new and I haven't had any problems with it at all.
Go to this website and type in your VIN and you'll know if the car needs any recall work...

I guess you never heard of Tommy Archer and his Gen III?

It's 59.4 miles from Guilford, CT to Tators Dodge in South Salem, NY. A little bit of a ride but you won't find anyone better than Chuck Tator in your neck of the woods. He is the Viper Wizard.
No I didn't notice a loss of performance. I've spoken to a few others who have had the "flash" and no one noticed any change. Your post is the first time I've heard of a power loss. I don't think you have anything to worry about but if you are worried and your lights work fine then don't do it...
Bought my Viper in 03 brand new with the certificate. Never had any problem at all. Only had recall work to flash lights and replace hydraulic fan module. Been to VOI in Texas and Regional Rendezvous on the East Coast. Car has been solid in and out.
