Draining coolant from block
What does the factory use on the plugs when you put them back in? An antiseeze type material, but isn't it orange or brown if I recall?- 95Viper

Replacing the coolant with water and Water Wetter
Distilled water WILL cause corrosion. You need an additive to any water to prevent corrosion. Most common is antifreeze but options like Zerex Racing Super Coolant is out there.- 95Viper

Any shortcut to taking off Valve covers on a Gen1?
Clean up what? If you are referring to the letters in magnesium, take a wooden block, extremely fine wet sandpaper, something like 2000, tape off red paint, lightly sand, turns out perfect. Takes 5 minutes. Apply wd40 with finger and you should be good for 3 months or so.- 95Viper

Any of you guys run a 75/25 mix in your radiator?
You go with too much water and you'll lose the corrosion protection. Go with Zerex Racing Super Coolant if you want to do that. Enough corrosion protection with something like 90% water. No freeze protection though.- 95Viper
