Being banned from the VCA is the least of his worries right now. I don't see how a performance car club could ban someone for racing though? The VCA doesn't encourage it, but to actually ban him? Seems like overkill. Its not the VCA's job to play judge, jury, executioner in real world...
After a previous site upgrade, a lot of old threads no longer show up because the URL addresses changed. Here's your thread:

According to the person who was supposedly at the scene, she said the other car involved in the racing took off?? That "2nd vehicle" pic may actually be the Viper, I guess? My 1st thought was it looked like the rear of a RT/10. Hard to say.

My friend in CA said the news reported it was 2 Vipers racing, but not sure if thats accurate or not.
While talking to Ralph at VOI, he said they'd be released in this order:
Coupe
Vert
ACR (the next year)
Back then all they had to do was design a car to beat a 7.22. Now, they gotta beat a 7.12 :D
If you mean the birdcage thing, the easy solution for that is to cotter pin it instead of the birdcage. But every 5 days means something else is wrong (alignment issue somewhere). Mine has broken twice in 6+ years and 50k miles.
Why as a matter of fact, yes. But thats always, not just for now :D
If you have a Gen 2, I doubt it would be very easy. Probably could be done, just not easy.
I got in the Hooters game and Viper game knowing neither would be cheap and both would require some expensive maintenance every now and then :D
I was more thinking of someone who has a good dash wanting this one to refinish and keep the mint dash safely tucked away in a box for the future. A...
haha I bought the dash that way. I was going to refinish it and keep as a spare, but I've decided its a couple other things I'd rather have right now than a spare dash.
Fairly normal for the Gen 1 dashes. You look at them and they scratch. Not sure what type paint they used, but durability definitely isn't it's strong suit.
Complete Gen 1 dash assembly with glovebox door. The dash will need to be refinished, but there are no cracks! These Gen 1 dashes have long since been obsolete and are near impossible to find in any condition. Buy as an investment if you want to hang on to it and sell in a few years as these...
Re: Gen 1 or 2 Non-ABS front calipers in classifieds!
After checking, I confirmed these WILL fit a ABS or non-ABS car. They are the same part # from 92-02.
Non-ABS front calipers for a Gen 1 or 2 Viper. They came off a 97' GTS. The "Viper" decals have been changed to red, but if you prefer a different color, I can have my vinyl guy cut new decals for $10/pair. Just let me know what color you prefer. Make offer...
