    If that's really it, then I have no regrets on not waiting. Looks nice, but too supple to be a Viper, I enjoy the look of the Gen3/4 a lot better.

    Viper is nothing special when it comes to electronics, no reason you can't put a nice remote start on it. It should be a fairly straight forward install.

    Judging by what's out there for sale right now, 45k seems like a pretty reasonable budget for an 03-04 vert in red, black, or silver. I just bought my 06 in GTS blue for 45k, but it does have 23kmiles.

    It's like every other halfshaft in the world. Just pop it out of the diff, switch the spring clip to the new axle if it doesn't have a new one, then shove the new one back in.

    I hope you mean more angle. As close to 90 degrees as you can get to the ramp is the way to clear without any rubbing.
