Why is that so funny?? So far Diablo is the only company that brought something to the table for the original SRT8. Not sure how they obtained the codes, but they claim to have cracked it themselves. And just prior to them cracking it, they were in talks with a guy that was reverse...
Where are you located?? I'm in Canada so driving it back this time of year is out of the question. If you're close enough I'll start looking for an enclosed trailer and see what I can work out. I leave for Thailand on December 6, so I'll be working with a short time frame if the distance is...
I would just tap a switched 12v source in your fuse box, and use some resistors to drop it down to 3v. Pretty sure you won't find a 3 volt source anywhere.
I googled your sirius part number, and here's the first link that came up.

There's an installation guide there, and it looks like you...
By the sounds of things, there should be a socket on your sirius module that will fit the plug from the car harness that normally goes to the head unit. then the sirius module should come with a harness that connects from the sirius module to the head unit. So in simple terms, your sirius...
Ya it's the smallest, worst arena in the league. But I sure as heck have no intention of any of my tax money going to pay for a new one. Sounds like we will know for sure in April, what the boneheads in city council will decide on. But being that the general public doesn't want to pay for it...
Settle down, it was all in good fun. If you're going to put something on your Viper that a 17yr old would put on his Honda Civic, you gotta expect a little ribbing.
That's what happens when you have an influx of uneducated people moving here, who start making 5 times more than they ever have before. They start buying up silly stuff like trucks with 20" lift kits, to get them to the grocery store.
Sorry, I am from Fort Mac so I am a little bitter at...
People love the car, it just doesn't sell well. Unless you live in Alberta, there aren't many Canadians that can just go drop 150k on a car that is a toy, let alone a daily driver.
Exactly!! I would gladly support my own economy, even if I had to pay an extra couple thousand dollars. But considering I can buy the same car in the US with a lot more selection, allowing me to be pickier on what I purchase, for 10-30g less money.......... Well it's a no brainer where I am...
Is it possible to say sell the car to yourself, and then sell it as a private sale to a Canadian buyer to sidestep the political red tape around this issue??
I would get this same attitude everytime I was pulled over in my SRT8 300c, or if I went through the border. They just seem to assume that anyone under 35 can't afford better than a beat up honda civic. At the border I needed to show my insurance/registration and everything. Then he still...
Cool pics. But I was just poking fun at this silly thread. Arguing about this is like competing in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
If someone lacks the multi-tasking skills to enjoy both music, and their Viper at the same time. Then why bother commenting in...
This is pretty much what it came down to for me. Not so much for the way other people look at it, but because I have to look back and see how hot it looks.
The only reason I ever considered the vette, was because I thought I might want to take it on a trip now and then. But the Viper is...
