    It takes literally 5minutes tops to pop that console piece up and look. Just pull the shifter ring hex bolts, then pull up on the back of the trim piece, it just snaps in place. Pretty sure the cig lighter power plug is right at the front. That would drive me nuts to leave that for any length...

    I think people were just trying to be helpful and give you a suggestion you might not have thought of. Definitely makes more sense to buy an Ipod and hook it up in your glove box, as opposed to spending more on a trunk CD player that will also kill your already non-existent storage space.

    If you follow the wire loom from your trunk lid lights, it runs down to the deck on the drivers side. There is a bit of a split where the weather stripping connects to the bulkhead cover. You can slip a cable through there and down the driver side of the bulkhead cover. Then just tuck it...

    That's insane. I think most people that do trade ins, do it to save the hassle of selling private. Which is what the dealer prays on. But I don't think you would have any issue selling private with your ACR, that thing is gorgeous.

    So if you're doing G2 over calipers that are already painted, do you need to sand them down and do a lot more prep work? Mine have the red calipers which look terrible with my blue paint, would like to color match them.

    That's a pretty cool resource. I found it a long time ago before buying my car. 2006 GTS Blue SRT-10, only 88 made, and from what I recall there were only 33 of them that came without white stripes. So I guess I have a 1 of 33 car which who knows how many of those 33 have been written off.

    I don't know if it would be economical for me since you are so far away? But my stock seats are beat to hell apparently, going to get some custom work done on them but wouldn't mind having some seats to use in the meantime. Otherwise I'm waiting for winter.

    Haven't booked yet, but I usually crash at Sandman. They treat me good, room is clean and reasonably priced, and they accommodate my parking requests. We can look at sharing a room if you're on a budget, just know in advance I'm bringing the woman. Maybe Jim has some wild hookups down there...
