Whining Transmission Question
I've never had that whine in either of my two Snakes, a 95 RT-10 and a 96 GTS. Is it possible that the person before you already changed the rear end gears and that is causing the whine. I've heard aftermarket gears whine...for sure.- Russ Oasis

Drove a viper... Help please!
Pass on this car. There are too many issues raised and too many VERY STRAIGHT cars available at good prices to even consider this one. Water out the pipes in itself may be no biggie, but when coupled with talk about head gaskets.....sounds suspicious. Also, the VIN number issue is a dead...- Russ Oasis

The most important thing to do before you get to the track is to make sure that you have completely flushed and replaced your brake fluid with DOT 4 or better (synthetic is not necessary).
