I had my car for 8 years, I know what normal gas fumes smell like and I know these were intolerable and I also notices, the wanting the stall at idle and rough idle when I pull out. There is an air/fuel mixing problem.
I'm pretty sure the O2 sensor is going bad. There is no engine light on and it almost wants to stall when you come to a stop. I know it's running really rich but why is the question. I have B&B Headers and side exhaust with no cats. I did have a bad O2 sensor about 8 years and 10,000 miles ago...
I took the switch apart and opened it up till I got to the copper insides. I bent the part upwards that makes contact because it began to bend the wrong way over the years and that has helped a lot, however it is still not perfect. Guess I have to keep fiddling with it.
My left and right windows will rarely go up or down on me. I'm sure it's the switch. I took it off a few years ago and bent the prongs a bit to make a better connections and that worked for a while. Now it barely works at all. I didn't know if there was a trick to get it to work again or just...
They should have placed those plants in the front of the car to cover the awfulness of the front bumper.
To each his own, but the opening of the mouth on the front of the car screams RICE and the lights on the side scream Corvette. The lights in no way keep the look of the viper the same as it...
They are from the VCA. They came to the shop to "tone it down" so his wife can drive it.
Took out NOS
Changed suspension back
Changed performance exhaust
etc...
If it's sooo much work to disassemble and sell a car then why do it in the first place?
You stuck your nose in business where it didn't belong. YOU didn't sell the car, YOU didn't buy the car, and YOU have no business posting not to post prices on the forum. Not sure who you think you are on...
Asking how much someone makes at their job is not the same question and I have no problem asking someone how much they make at their job. Some people freely brag and some people don't want to say, but asking doesn't hurt if you want to know.
You people get butt hurt way to easy.
I did not want...
So you bought another salvage car to sell and make money from?
I LOVE how the viper community is so "tight" except for when it comes to how much a damaged car was bought and sold for. Then it's every man for himself and everything is hush hush. Makes no sense. The deal is done. What does it...
Man, everyone on this forum has to add their 2 cents.
He sold it quick, obviously it went for cheap because he didn't want to deal with it. He also said he bought it cheap from the insurance company.
I did NOT DEMAND he tell us the numbers. I ASKED.
Anyone who thinks the front does NOT look like that corvette needs their head examined. I like the rest of the car and I'm aware of the HP to weight ratio. The front just doesn't cut it for me. Numbers don't lie and we will see how many they sell.
Then the front end wouldn't look like a corvette and the horsepower would be higher...at least 700. Complete Failure. I suspect this will be their worst selling model yet.
I mean c'mon, the 2 most important things on a sports car is how it looks on the front and the horsepower.
As mentioned before, the front looks like a Corvette. They needed to keep the wide eyes. Everything is good except the HP which should have been 700, and the front. It looks like a GTS, and I would take my 97 GTS anyday over this still. THey also should have offered an optional Supercharged...

Allow me to reiterate. First of all I have 1 flat tire so I cannot drive the viper to Walmart. I would have to carry the rims and tires in anywhere I go. Thanks.
Please don't flame. I got 19" rims and I'm sure Walmart can at least do the fronts for like $10 each or less, but my local tire place is apparently charging viper tax and wants $60 per tire (times 4) which is crazy. I questioned them and they went off about having a $15,000 machine....i asked...
Re: I noticed an odd looking viper on a business card yesterday..Looks like the new v
Ok, it was new to me and I knew there was an explanation. Thanks.
I'm sure it's not because how could it be on a business card when nobody even knows what it looks like, but this viper does look bad ass and it resembles the Gen2 as a lot of people think the new viper will.
Here is a pic.
