Post up the best pic of your SRT

Still haven't had a day with good lighting. Today is day 1 Hot Rod Power Tour.

    Diy low profile ramps

The carriage bolts are just placed in the holes to keep the rear tires from torquing them down the driveway. If the rear tires weren't on them, then they'd lift out. There ao no nuts on the other end.

    Superchargers and power brakes

Well, i haven't put the car into the same situation yet to use up all the vacuum. I'm on the Hot Rod Power Tour now and will run the auto cross. I'll post up how it goes. The check valve is the plastic 90degree fitting in the first photo. Looks just like the one in the power booster.

    Diy low profile ramps

Actually I can jack up the car. I used this setup to install brake ducts, my vacuum canister into the fender well, the splitter, and adjust my toe angle. I enjoy working on my cars, the Viper isn't going to be any different. I'm cheap, this gets the job done.

    Diy low profile ramps

I almost jumped into the group buy for the race ramps, then saw the "used/display" discount and almost went that route as well. I returned home from Afghanistan last Thursday, a week ago and started working on the Viper. I already had a pair of Rhino Ramps I picked up for $30 at my local auto...

    Superchargers and power brakes

I wanted to share the issue I had and my solution for those that might not know. I have built several supercharged cars but I've always used mechanical brakes. My Viper came supercharged and obviously with power brakes. During the Ohio Viper Club Regional event last year I had a conversation...

    Billet Steering Rack Bushings?

I just installed these today and wanted to share my feedback. I have a Paxton supercharger taking up space so I approached from under the car. It took about an hour and a half using a lift and having to remove the splitter. 15/16 wrench with some leverage to break the bolts loose. A...

Where in the heck does this ridiculous idea that a Viper cannot handle come from?

Agree. Years before owning my Viper the only experience driving it was on video games. On Gran Turismo, it races down the track like an overpowered rear-steering forklift. I used to think Vipers really drove like that.

    Absolute Ridiculosity

What makes the blades so proprietary that we have to pay so much for replacements? Never mind. I see.

    Supercar Club of China

Last time I was in China was 2009. I was surprised at how many BMWs and porsces were on the road. I hear they dish out close to 100% import tax.

    convertible top repair

I thought the same thing, a 69 Mustang with a 351 would be a 69 M Code. I almost asked the same question because I know a guy on the Mustang Forums with the same user name.

Is this viper owner a member?

I bought a 3m clear bra and did it myself, such a pain in the ass. I had to cut it in a few spots that bubbles and wrinkled. The hardest part for the clear bra was the front of the hood and the fog lights. I am going to pull it off when I get home.

Can you believe anybody would do this to a B/W Coupe!

I think the tail lights are off a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

    Updates from Afghanistan

I had to do some traveling to train some of my new Marines, most of these shots are through 4" glass.

What made you buy a Viper?

The first Viper I ever saw in person was in Japan, 1995. I was in High School at Misawa AB in Northern Japan, must've been 17. A guy from our church, Mike M., owned it, a red 1st gen roadster. He was on a business trip in Korea and saw the Viper for sale at the military auto sales. He bought it...

    Another New Owner

Welcome! I like the color. I'm not directly involved but I hear yellow is faster than red.

    2012 Hot Rod Power Tour

I know there's already a thread on this but that one seems to be more about Indy500. It's $80 to register. you can do 1 day or all 8 the price is the same. If you want Long Hauler status (start to finish) you need to check-in at Detroit before the counter closes on June 2, make all the...

Any raodsters with ACR splitter w/o rear wing?

That's a Lempke Street Serpent isn't it? It has crossed my mind to have Jeff convert my car. But, I like the look and function of the ACR splitter and canards which don't flow with the Street Serpent front end. Did you have to upgrade your suspension? I notice you're running the taller...

Any raodsters with ACR splitter w/o rear wing?

Thank you for the info. I did do a search and couldn't find images with combination in question. I did find a lot of the ACR Roadsters and Aero roadsters that all had wings. From what I gathered, as long as I didn't run the ACR extension I would be fine without upgrading the suspension. I do...

Any raodsters with ACR splitter w/o rear wing?

I'm thinking about an ACR splitter and canards without a wing on my roadster. Wondering if anyone can post shots of theirs. Or, if someone can photoshop chop a wing off of an aero vert. I'm open to a wing but not ready to upgrade the suspension for it so will wait. Thank you
