Is the little amount of money your going to make by going from your 2000 to a 96/97 gts really worth it. If you by a beater you may have to put money into it. Keep, drive it and have fun. Fine something else to sell.
Re: \'00 oil use and Arrow rebuild ???\'s
The 11/99 build date for the car may not have a problem motor. It is the build date on the motor block and an other number on the left frount of the block that tells which motor you have. Get under the car and look at the numbers on the motor. On the...

I got McCann's info from Larry M. I have not used them but if Larry suggested them so I thought it was good to pass it on. I just wish Larry did warrenty work. If he did mine would be with him now. I have found a good place for it, but it is not in Ohio.
I hope your not using a techs in the warren/youngstown area. I and several others have had problems. You might try Dan Fafficic at McCann Racing 330-499-1664.

That is just what my car was doing. The dealer I bought it from said that is how they run. After my first Viper days I learned differently. So I started looking into it and found that my motor was one made with the powered liners. It is...
Re: \'00 oil use and Arrow rebuild ???\'s
My rt is being done now. I had two dealers side step the probelm but found one that is taking care of the problem. It seems DC has a list of numbers for the motors that have the problem. These motors were made from sept. to nov. of 99 and have the...

I had a problem like yours. It turned out to be a lose plug wire. What is the rpm range for 60 mph. I have 3.73 rear and it lets me use 6th at 50 mph
Re: WOW!!!!!!!! but what if???
It has been done. I saw one on lake Erie around Sandusky. Sound was very different. The person who did it said the cost was too much for most, but if I ever get back into boating its the way I would go.
does it happen any one gear the most or just all? Try This, with the car stopped engine running shift from first to reverse with a ten count hold in neutral. If it cluncks into grear or will not go into grear at all. These may be needed to be looked at If this continues, look at the clutch...
I am more interested in having the car be what was solded as.
1 way is to work with the people I am sending it to be fixed and work out the cost.
2. by parts needed to fix it plus install fees
3. give fees to fix car
4. take car back and refund all my money back
And of croase any legals fees I...
I have had a problem with a dealer in northeast Ohio. Service has not been good by any standard, but that is not the biggest problem I have. When I bought the car it was advertised in print and statements that it had a higher than stock hp rating. The dealer has stated that they did all the...
I looked in to the missing plate law in Ohio. There is a movment in the state to stop the requirement for the frount plate, because of this I was told to get a ticket and go before the court. I was to plead no contest and explain the reason for not having the plate and let the judge rule. If...
Thanks for the add info. The adjustments are about the same, about even with the top of the nut. The dents appear to be old. They are filled with dark matterial like they have been there for awhile. Not sure I will still have it looked at as soon as I can.
Quess what is next. Was under the...
well I worked on it today and have it running. There is less noise and more power (???). Will dyno Thursday to see. There are dents in the baffles but I do not thing it is hitting now. I will have it checked by Dan at McCann before i use it much.
Thanks for the info everyone.
Bill
thanks JackB/Vipermed
I read the info on the valve geometry. It is very much like I used on big block chevys. I will check to day. As for air in the lifter I did try running the car to pump up the oil pressure in the lifter. It was not until I adjusted the lash, did the lifter firm up. Is...
let me give some history first. I bought the car with some modes on it. The dealer has stated they did all the installation on all the modes, but they will not give me the info on what was done. I had the dealer tec adjusted the valves because of noise. The tec said to bring the car in the...
Had this head light problem on several other cars. It turned out that they had switched to a overload relay (not a fuse)to protect the circuit. I upgraded to a better quality overload relay (you have to hunt for it) and this fixed the problem. At least DC says they are looking into it, GM said...
