The Viper was laways considered a better car thna the ZR1. The ZR1 was and is not considered a sucess, it was very expensive and not enough were purchased and that is why production ended in 1995 with only approx 550 units sold.
And you do stir things up on the vette board but in a...
CCW are the best value. They are very good looking wheels and I have never read a complaint about them here or on the Corvette Forum.
I think they are about 30-50% cheaper than HRE's
Good luck
The Ford GT. They are only going to make 3200 of these and only through next year.
You will always be able to pick up a Viper Coupe as it will probable be out at least 3 - 4 years and will also likely get a boost in performance next year.
Vipers definitely have more presence than Corvettes. It is not just exclusivity either. The stance of the Vipers are so low and wide they just draw the eye. I especially like the styling of the new Coupe.
Like you I am not a professional driver so the Corvettes offers me a level of...
Keith,
I accept your apology.
Open your eyes and learn to read next time before throwing insults. This way you can avoid being a "wannabe" yourself.

Yikes!
I never knew the SRT 10 had Oil starvation issues. Is this the case with Gen I &II?
I have never heard of this on the previous generation of Vipers.
I hope DC steps up to the plate and makes the Viper King of the Hill again. And it is more than just increasing Horsepower...
The Viper in Automobile was not the red one in the other mags - it was black. This was a heads up test which is exactly what the poster before me was asking for.

Convinced yet? Same day same track - Viper came in Third.
No problem. Sig is a few years old also.
I am passionate about the Viper. My 12 year old RT/10 is still one of my all time favorite car designs and every time I take it out it still gtes thumbs up.
And let me say this right off the bat. The new Viper Coupe is, to me, better looking than...
Here is my "wannabe" Viper that was bought new in 1993 at sticker after putting a deposit down 14 months earlier.
Here is my "wanabe" Viper getting custom windows done by Biff @ V Mania drove 600 + miles in one day to get these made to match the H*nnessey top.
Don't get it twisted...
Does this make you my publicist, since you where the one who mentioned me?
Thanks I didn't realize you where such a big fan. I wanna be on the cover of the next Viper Quarterly, make it happen.
Same with the Corvette Front Mid engine layout. But as others have stated rear mid engine is the optimum setup for racing. Look at the Lemans Prototype class and F1 cars. Always faster with mid engines.
