If there is someone out there as bored as me (weather turning for the worst and on vacation) could you please do a photo chop of a yellow SRT 10 with an Auto Form top on it? Sure would appreciate it ... mine won't be in for another 4 weeks and I would love to see what it might look like. Sure...
I completely agree with "Nobody's" comments - in addition to 20ish Women, women in their mid 30's to mid 40's in outstanding physical shape also love the SRT 10.... the power of the Snake really knows no age limit when it comes to attracting beautiful females!
You need to decide what gets your blood churning when it comes to Vipers. I owned 7 Corvettes before getting my SRT 10 this year from Bill Pemberton. The SRT 10 is an amazing car in every detail. I never owned a GTS or ACR so I can't compare but I can tell you everywhere I go with the SRT 10...
Ah, but the yellow SRT had already lapped the Silver SRT for the second time and was approaching the third take down! The Vette stopped at Burger King for a Diet Pepsi and fries but was making a hard attempt to stay in the contest!
Like many I took a few days off around the holidays - yesterday temperatures in Phila were close to 58 degrees and yes with the heater on, I took the top down - man, that felt REALLY GOOD! I blasted around town finishing last minute holiday chores and really, really enjoyed the day! Today's...
My Viper has 1500 miles on it - I have been traveling extensively in the past 8 weeks so I checked my oil and dipstick reading. The car was 2 quarts low on oil so I had to refill. I am wondering if this is typical in terms of a new Viper while the engine breaks in? Anyone?
Thanks Tony! I will post lots of pics when the top arrives. Anyone that wants to see it in person I am 30 minutes north east of center city Phila. I think the rattling hopefully is an isolated situation and with adjustments gets fixed. I know RT 10's have that issue occassionally. I heard...
Well, as per my last post, I was debating whether or not to trade my SRT in for an SRTC. I did some research and several VCA brothers offered some insight. I decided to keep the SRT 10 as I really love open air driving and I ordered the Autoform SRT 10 top without the little side window cut...
Sounds great - can't wait to get the top - clearly the best of both worlds and the autoform top gives the SRT a really freakish, aggressive look to boot! Thanks guys!
Austin, I am ordering without the side cut outs. Can you tell me how the top is installed? Sounds like it doesnt need any modifications, screws or bolts etc. Thanks
Thanks guys - I intend to order the Autoform top on Monday and enjoy the best of both worlds. I also agree with Kenny regarding the C5 fixed roof Z. I will post pictures when the top arrives. One question, can someone detail how the heck the top fits on? Sounds like no bolts, screws or other...
Thanks guys - I think on Monday I will order the top and enjoy the looks and flexibility of open air driving the autoform top provides. I just think the thought of giving up spring/summer/fall open air driving in PA is to much to sacrifice. I appreciate the insight and information you have...
Does anyone have pictures or can help with a photoshop to demonstrate what an Autoform top looks like on a yellow SRT 10? Sure appreciate the help forum members!
The autoform hard top looks great - I will investigate that option as it offers great flexibility of choice. Is the top hard to install and to use i.e. removing it and putting it back on. I really like the way it looks. Thanks guys!
:2tu:
Ok, I will respond to my own post - I am thinking of trading my yellow SRT in for a yellow/black stripe SRTC. I think the coupe screams viper and I believe I can live without the convertible option. Could you?
One of the most powerful if not the most powerful convertible on the market? Just curious - I did some searches and can't find to many convertibles with 505hp - thoughts?
Re: \'06 SRT Coupe vs \'97 GTS...
The GTS seems more narrow compared to the new SRT 10 Coupe. The back of the SRT 10 coupe is a bit more streamlined. Interesting comparison. The cars are amazing! Must be a labor of love to keep them clean! Thanks for sharing!
Hey VipeRick, I am in Bucks County Pa and have also been driving my Viper in these colder temperatures. Care with the accelerator is needed until the tires heat up and then you are in pretty good shape. Yesterday a family in an Expedition drove up next to me and the kids starting taking...
