    Started or drove

These seem like very good reasons to get away now and then for some Dad time. Tell the wife you're gonna hit the road for a hour or two and find some cool roads. Just don't forget to give her time to get away too....

    Starter Going Bad???

If the engine is just not turning over as soon as you turn the key... Possible bad starter but more likely corroded connections etc. If the engine turns but takes longer to start see above... ^

    Maryland viper owners help needed

May as well let us know who you bought it from.... Heavy oil/ motor honey/ gear lube in the engine is a fast and dirty trick. Fix it, save all documentation and stay with it. I'm sure the dealer hopes you give up and go away but persistance may win the day. Good luck. meanwhile you can...

    Clean 1995 Black Viper RT

'95 is the best year for gen 1 (except for the '96 transition year)... The windows are probably plexi. I agree with 01 sapphirebob's statement when it comes to regular driving. They're great cars but they leak a bit in the rain and the window/top thing can be a PIA. The comfort issues...

Cleaned Terminals and New battery, Still clicks!! What's Next?

I'm thinking bad starter. An old trick is to tap the starter with a hammer. If it turns over after that, buy a new starter asap.

What class would you say the Viper is in?

I drive it for sport. It's a sportscar... If I drove it for attention it would be an exotic. If I raced it, it would be a supercar. Mine's a sportscar. - Just my .02

clutch pads wore after 38k miles?

Squeak? Not sure where you're going with this. If the clutch isn't slipping,... the "squeak" is coming from something else I'd say.... Linkage?? If the drives fine it is fine. Old cars have quirks.

    Nail repair question

I found this a while back in one on my tires..... (No, it's not a splif) It went straight through the center of a new rear tire! The patch has held just fine for a year or two and I'm looking to replace it soon. I'm thinking about swapping rims and updating the car a bit....

    Procrastination to the max!

About time! I know you have a GTS for roof-on driving.... Just leave the top off the gen 1 from now on. (well, that's what I'd do...):)

    Driveability.....

That's a great car you have.... '95 was by far the best year for gen 1.
  23. jdeft1

    Driveability.....

Leave it at the stock settings if you drive the car (not just at the track). Trust me, the stock settings will give you good tread life and only slightly less than optimum performance. Do you track it is the question...? A track alignment is a tad more toe-in and a bit more neg. camber but...
