I replaced the spark plugs (.35) originals. I took off the intake to replace the thermostat. Now that I have everything back together I started it and it stumbled for a few seconds and then started to race. I only let it get to 2400 rpm but it felt like it would have gotten higher had I let it...
I know that oil can spill out of the engine under heavy braking. However I am unsure if it just spills out or if it goes into the cooling system.
1. Where does it go?
2. Can water somehow spill into the engine?

Your enthusiasm is contagious and makes me remember the day that I bought mine. The good thing is that the same feeling will return every time you step into the garage and pull back the cover. Enjoy!! And drive the wheels off of it.
I am changing out my 10 year old plugs. Should I stay with the same?
I pulled out a (Champion RC12LYC)is this stock?
It looks like it burned perfectly.

Tell me about the brakes...Big difference I have heard.
Also a buddy of mine says that it really helps to not lock out your brakes. Mine of course has no ABS, Is it true that it is harder to lock them out?
Now that I have taken my heads off to install new gaskets is there anything that I can or should do while they are off?
I am only changing them out because a few people suggested it due to the possibility of a leak with the old gaskets.
