How many past Corvette owners have Vipers?
Had a 'vette for two years, sold it for $1,000 more than I paid for it - car held value, I'm happy. Also drove a 2001 'vette before making the decision to buy the new 2001 Viper. The wife also likes the Viper better - from better visability to adjustable pedals. I'm very happy with the Viper...- JDR

Dealers with good deals on 2001's?
Re: Dealers with good deals on 2001\'s? I just bought my RT/10, new 2001. With the hard top option, I was able to get it for 69,999. I felt it was a GREAT DEAL, as I was looking at $76,500 (MSRP) plus a $15,000 dealer markup nine months ago. I'd say any dealer willing to sell you a Viper at...- JDR

Opinions on no black trail left on burnout!!!
Let me guess... Tire wear rating of 200? My (uneducated) understanding (guess) is that HARD tires (high wear ratings) slide and don't leave rubber, just at you're describing. A softer tire, with a low tread rating, leaves some black, and doesn't like to slide around the corners... but you can...- JDR

First Time Owner - Picked it up today!
Now that you've obviously told all the people you know... the fun has only begun... Wait until the first time you drive it through town and find that it stops traffic and causes people to yell at you (YEAH! GREAT CAR!). Then just TRY to pump gas without being engaged by people wanting to talk...- JDR
