Your accomplishment and dedication to getting your Gen.5 in the 10s is outstanding...I do not agree that Vipers are not good drag racers as some indicate.Really,any car that runs even 11.50s and does 200 mph stock is crazy fast.I raced Gen2s and a Gen 4 for 15 years,so I will never agree with...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Ya Nine Ball,I will bet, 6 months out YOU(like many more) will be driving one of those super fast shifting new ZO6s running easy 10 second passes all day long.Just think,that will give you months again to run one very high 10 second pass again in a Gen 5 with drag radials...You did a great job...- FLL-B/W-GTS

What are buyer's paying for their new Viper GTS?
Dwhitt,outstanding machine and price..91,000.00 for a GTS Viper like that (Crazy)....All said,if these prices continue to free fall, I will be forced to get me one and keep it for the remainder....I will be soon low balls a couple dealers here in South Fla ,just got to let them sit a little...- FLL-B/W-GTS

What are buyer's paying for their new Viper GTS?
WHD and BP are exceptional, but they are the exception, NOT the rule. The Gen.5 ,does need some modern safety updates(side/knee air bags) and more HP and DCTs etc.,but it is a good value at the fire sales prices now a days.If you buy a new one now ,you are stuck with it or like some one...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Policy Limits and Torquemonster that is a perfect explanation of the situation....Dodge would sell all the Vipers they could make with a DCT or super fast shifting Auto....In no way should they discontinue the manual,as many still enjoy that. Ya Ivan is a good dude...SF VCA is correct.....I am personally not at all concerned about the $$$$,just the results...... Emerier,you are 100 percent correct...Several people continue to make excuses for the Gen.5 on its inability to be completive in Drag Racing .As for not being a Drag Racer,years past that is all we did in the South Fl. Ya,forgot Brooks did a 11.17,S.Fla.the Master Drag Racer..I was taking about the previous Gens I have raced (2/4s) on the issues...While I have driven a Gen.5,I have not raced one and I do agree they are way way better and safer car than the previous Gens.I do hope they add side inpact air bags...- FLL-B/W-GTS

I witnessed a Gen.5 Viper with a very experienced driver with drag radials run all day long(at least 10 runs)at Palm Beach.The car is bullet proof,as they ran the piss out of it and it did not break. The best time was 11.40s(60/70s Avg)...You are correct,that is excellent for a stick that is so...- FLL-B/W-GTS

My new 2014 Viper

Redsled,why would I not mention the Porsche 911 Turbo S in the response.A 10.70s street car is 8 car lengths ahead of a 11.50s Gen 5 Viper on the street and drag strip in a quarter mile race(Reg People/Not Nineball). That is no bash on Gen.5,just how it is...A Gen.5 is a excellent car and 11.50s...- FLL-B/W-GTS

Nissan GTR and the 991/911 Turbo S.... The Gen.5 just needs a DCT Auto/Updated LC and tect.and it will be able to hang with the consistent under 3 second /10 second club at the red light/test and tune Friday Nights..... If not,it will continued to be whooped at those venues .....- FLL-B/W-GTS

Helped Dodge out to start the quarter !
My rules in my three Viper ownership experience (15yrs) were Dry Roads Only,Hot Tires,lot road in front of you and most important keep it pointed straight on the street when you nail it.....Good Luck with your new toy....- FLL-B/W-GTS
