I had a very unique opportunity this past weekend at Viperdays. My black SRT was parked next to the black SRT coupe which was parked next to a red GTS and a guy with a red C06. I got to see all in a line all four cars together. Unfortunately I did not have my camera this weekend but a picture...
The biggest thing the traction control does is keep the back end from coming all the way around on you. I am pretty heavy footed and like to feel the acceleration. Street conditions vary greatly, weather. cold tires, its just an added safety element.
Plus the fact that I like sharing my toys...
I just completed installing a Hurst shifter and a Quaife differential, it feels like a totally different car. The shifter is very crisp and you can feel exactly when the gears engage. There is a “click” when you reach the gear position and the stick stops firm, very nice. And then the Quaife...
Just got through installing the Hurst shifter. Since I wanted to use my MGW shift knob, I cut about 1.5” out of the middle of the stick and welded it back together. This allowed me to put it all back together and look just like it did before. I did not like any of the ball knob options that...
I am interested in any feedback on track data for Autoform’s rear wing. Can you feel its effect, what speeds does it begin to apply down force. I don’t really like the looks, so it would just be for track events. Hopefully it’s not just for show
I have a set of the ViperTrim chrome bars for sale. They look great on the car. Due to my heavy track participating I installed the Autoform bar so I don’t need the chrome bars anymore, $400 takes em
Been to a dozen different tracks and no one has ever cared if the top was up or down. I will say the car is more stable at high speed with the top up. I personally would not do over 130 MPH without a REAL roll bar. Factory hoops are for decoration only. There are several post regarding...
This is going to sound really strange but I had a very similar problem and the problem and solution seemed to weird to share. Your symptoms sound very similar to mine with a few exceptions. Upon starting in the morning I could here the chirp/whine/rattle, but it sounded like it was coming from...

Re: What\'s happen with the Racelogic Traction Control system?
I believe I was the first to install the traction control in a SRT, that’s been several months now. Love it. Its works great, very happy that I installed it. Some observations. It kicks in most often in the morning or in the...
This is what I love about this car. Sunday I get up at 7:00AM take a shower, get dressed, go to the garage pop the trunk and put my helmet in. I am of to the track. I arrive 30 minutes later, find a slot and park. I open the trunk take out the helmet and any loose stuff in there, then check...
There are no real bushings to settle in, the mounting points are heim-ends (sp?), no rubber. I lowered mine at least 1.5” and I rode around before the alignment for a week, the only thing that I changed was the camber. Your car will look so much better, pictures do a lowered car no justice. I...
Its not very hard, should take a long afternoon to do. No caliper removal, no special tools. Creativity does come into play when routing and the placing the remote reservoirs. You’ll be very happy with them, no more bouncing on rough pavement. The alignment really comes down to if you change...
Just installing the head unit is very simple. It is a direct replacement for the stock unit. Adding the CD changer and a Sirus unit complicate the install by 10 fold. I put the Sirus tuner and the CD changer in the trunk. (don’t know how the guy who put the unit behind the passenger seat...
Re: EBC Green Users on SRT-10\'s- please read
Also should mention, last weekend on the track a ‘04 Lotus that was running EBC red and went through a set in a day and a half. On the times that I came speeding up behind him, he did not seem to be over braking. The driver said the brakes were...
Re: EBC Green Users on SRT-10\'s- please read
I installed greens on my old ’03 and they squeaked from the start and were still squeaking 5K miles later. I thought the dust was much better though. The braking was not near as strong as the stock pad however. I bought a set of greens for my ’04...
There is no question you are putting more strain on the engine with a SC, you are asking it to do more. I have tracked mine 4 times this year and have had no issues at all, except that it’s more power than I have been able to harness well, yet, getting better every time.. I really like the...
That might explain my situation. I had to replace one of my sensors that was damaged during mounting, the ninth one. If it bumped one of the eight codes, it would explain why my second set of tires bing. Thanks for the info.
