Does this truck really weigh 5000 lbs. ? Needs to be on a diet.. Beautiful machine. Gotta have one....
Can anyone offer suggestions for options to deal with a speeding ticket in Illinois? I know someone who got a ticket for 90+ in a 55 mph. Or is it better to pay it and forget it?
Rush to buy or wait ??? The last winner was the last couple of tickets sold. Was that last ticket sitting on top?? Early birds on the bottom??Buy now and later. Or just pray alot.. Just rambling..........J
Bob That was me. Red # 35 That for the complement. My best time was 1:33.7 on street tires.Trashed a new set of pads in 4- 15 minute sessions. I did get a chance to drive steve loudin's srt . Wow awesome brakes. It was at the end of the day so we didn't get any times . I wish we had. I was...
I was there. Autoform hauled and prepared the car. Had the flu on Fri. Raced Sat. and Sun.Finished, I think 6th or 7th in Gt-1. Wasn't to excited with that finish. j
The car was a wrecked 2000 gts that was striped to build it into a race car. It has an Autofrom lightweight race body. Like the car Skip was driving a few years ago. I won't go as far as to rip on anyone elses cars or choice of paint jobs. I will say this. Bring um to the track. You will see...
I agree with paulo. Tim at Alcalde does great work. He painted my race car feb. of 2002. I ran it in all of the viperdays events since and it held up excellent for the beating it has taken. I wish I would have put that paint job on my street car. Jim
Henry is right. You can't appreciate what this car can do until you put it on the track. Or in the mud:The events are fun and you will meet some great people. Most importantly it will make you a better driver. Jim
So Cal what was the problem with the cylinder wall? I have a 2000 motor in my car and I feel it should be stronger. Is this cylinder wall problem a common problem among this year? Jim
Bill was a great guy, easy to talk to and a hell of a competitor. You would have never known he was sick by the way he competed. He will be missed. Our sympathies go out to his family. Jim Barb Walker
I agree with steve and gary. The vca officers have made a big commitment to the club and to those who participate in the events. I take my hat off to them. I feel they should get there cars early. I will wait patiently.
