    I've had to cd players for my 04 go bad and want to just get another without going though the warranty process. Does anyone who has changed there stereo out still have it or are there recomendations for an aftermarket 6 disc system that fits? Also, is a radio swap a simple enough project?

    well, it's still a corvette, i'm not worried, I don't drive my viper to the fullest potential it has, you can't legally, and to do so you have to be a professional racer which most of us are not. but like I said before, it's still only a vette.

    I checked mine as well and it almost broke loose. My tourque wrench wouldn't fit and I don't have any loctite. I just tightened with a rachet and it went a long way before being very tight. I will do it correctly later. You'd think this would have been addressed earlier by dc. Or, maybe they...
