How much oil will I lose if I remove the oil filter?

Did you just change the oil and you know it is the filter and not residual oil from the change? Put a big pan underneath and pull it off. Then you can tell us what happened!! :D If I had to guess you are going to lose the same amount as if you were normally changing the oil. But then...

    PBJ Airbox and Catch can.

Call Joe Donovan at Performance by Joe. 314-781-3135. I am not sure what the material is, you can choose color etc. Both are powder coated. I selected brushed aluminum for the tubes but I think you can get those any way you like as well.

    PBJ Airbox and Catch can.

In the top pic you can see where it dips down towards the front of the car, that is where it draws in air in front of the radiator. I don't have a pic of that right now. I will take one tomorrow to give you a better perspective.

    PBJ Airbox and Catch can.

Finally had time to clean up the car and get some pics of the Performance by Joe Airbox and Catch Can. I got the long version where it is open in the front to draw in more air. In the middle picture you can see where the intake temperature sensor now resides.

    Camera mount

Did a quick search, but still have a few questions. I am wanting to mount my camera in at 02 GTS. Has anyone used the Viper Innovations mount? If so what are your thoughts. I like the easy install however I don't like the final location of the camera. I suspect it is easy to modify the...

As my girlfriend tells me, lubrication is good...

Insurance might help, remember if the concrete had fallen off a passing truck and was MOVING when you hit it, it is comprehensive. IF the concrete was stationary in the road it is collision. Collision typically has higher deductible and can go against you. Comprehensive typically has a lower...

    What am I missing?

Those pads fit more than just the Viper. Snip them off at the pad and install. Those are exactly like the ones I just put on, no worries. :2tu: Oh, the cable is to inform the driver that it is time to replace the pads. Also, after you bed the brakes remove the wheels and clean up the...

    Dash Mats

Those who own a dash mat, is the glare reduced or eliminated? If reduced do you see the mat rather than the dash? PS, Dave (RACECARS) as of this writing all your website links only go to your photos.

why so many yellow gts for sale??

What happens is owners realize that they can't handle the acceleration/deceleration of the Yellow Viper. Its just a step above all the others. Of course not trying to start anything here. :D

    Stripped seat stud found

That is an option, go to a 6mm stud. I would not have to thread it far, just enough to get the full nut on it. Use a spacer to take up the rest of the distance. Might be the easiest approach. I was/am contemplating making it larger. Have not run the dimensions yet, but build a sleeve that...

    Stripped seat stud found

To install the Roe Clutch linkage I removed the drivers seat. When I went to reinstall I found (confirmed) that one of the rear studs was completely stripped. I have chased both the nut and stud. Although the nut will now turn it will not hold any load since the major diameter of the stud is...

    Roe Clutch Pedal Mod Kit

If I understand this mod correctly it puts the clutch pedal in the same plane as the brake pedal. It is still not clear to me what the gas pedal adjustment does. Went ahead and ordered the kit along with some other stuff. I guess the gas pedal mystery adjustment will be solved soon.

Re: Anyone near STL. MO have a nice set of 18 I may buy a new set of wheels in early April. If that happens I will more than likely sell the OEM's. Today they are "perfect", no curb rash. Hopefully that remains till April. If you don't find what you want, ping me then.

    MATS

Nice looking set. I also went with USspeed. The mats fit very snug to the perimeter of the footwell and extend quite high up towards the firewall. Nothing slips or moves. I also received a set of mat clips to use if needed.

Nice collection. With that set you can create a picture similar to what RX Viper did. Too bad the littlest one is the fastest. :p

    Working on the Viper

Step one, remove old setup. Step 1.5, clean area exposed by removal of airbox. It is easier to remove the whole airbox and work from that point forward. Step two, install new stuff. Step three, start engine and admire work. Whoops, forgot the real first step, open beer.
