    VERY RARE HAT..

I would have guessed you should pay someone to take it. Pay me $100.00 and I will take it. Of course I will only wear it while working underneath the car.

    Problem with bleeding brakes..spongy pedal

I'm in a quandry. I replaced all the brakes..pads, calipers, rotors I bought a pressure bleeder as well. Ok, I have run about 3 liters of fluid through the system with the pressure bleeder and have also manually bleed the brakes. What was interesting is that there were particles running...

    SRT or GTS ACR coupe

You ask several questions, which is a better buy and which style to go with. I would argue a better buy is not answered until you decide which style you like. You can't go wrong with any Viper. Each has +/- that will vary depending on the person. And may depend on what you plan to do with...

    Vipers in Grassroots Motorsports

Actually there are seven pages of information. However almost all of it is historical, review of the years, informational, etc. Nothing really new. No test drives or comparisons. It is a good read if you never have read anything on the Viper. It is a good read but basic. This organization...

Are You Consumed With Your Viper?

I'm not obsessed but my wife thinks so. I mean is it unusual to clean the suspension parts everytime I remove the wheels so that I can clean the inside of the wheel rim before I clean the outside of the wheel? I say hell no. And I'm not gonna take anymore abuse about obsessive behavior from no...

    White Christmas

JUCD, don't know, were you at the Gateway Christmas party or the Wine Cruise in Nov? I don't recall you being at either event. When are you back home?

    Good COP !! (TROOPER)

What is the definition of rapid acceleration? Hell any acceleration in a Viper is rapid. It would be hard for me to not laugh at a cop when he asks why I was accelerating so rapidly. I would probably want to offer him a ride so that he could understand what is "normal" for a Viper rather than...

    Pressure Bleeders--psi?

Those who use a pressure bleeder, what psi do you use when bleeding the system? The factory manual says to use according to the bleeder product recomendations, the Motive bleeder says to use according to the factory recommendations. Nice little circle here. TIA.

    Extremely pissed off right now.

Re: Extremely pissed off right now....Update Well done with the rears. They actually fit at the banjo fitting, but I did not really like the "standoffs" I had to build to help keep the hard line from stressing due to their mismatch on the SS line brackets. Does anyone know if the 92-2000 is...

Peeps with Vinyl stripes, do you have a clear bra?

Not sure if this will date me, but what the hell is a "peeps"? Is that slang for "people" (normal person) or is there some other personal/behavioral characteristic one must posses to be considered a "peep(s)"? Can't answer the question till I know if I am a "peep(s)".

Have You Experienced the Viper Smile?

I am lucky as well in owning my Viper. I have dreamed about this car since the first time I saw one. Finally I have it and will never sell it unless it is for another Viper that I lust after even more. I guess my next dream is to own two of them. Of course then I would have the problem of...

My rant on the banjo fitting...a picture of the issue.

I am not sure I want to be driving the car with more washers on it or cut the bolt. I thought about adding washers but figured for what the lines cost they should be right. Anyway I don't have more new washers laying around that I would risk that on either. Call me conservative when it...

    New Member, White Viper pics

Car looks great. Do you recall what "white" that is? It makes the white van in the background look dull by comparison. Have you ever photoshop it with black stripes?

Merry Christmas from this side of the pond....

Merry Christmas Baz...your stuff should have been made by now. However I won't be able to mail it for another week or so. I have not seen the Red Sneaky Pete yet, I am anxious to see it. I went ahead an made Blue and Yellow as well although I am still going to paint one yellow.

    Extremely pissed off right now.

Re: Extremely pissed off right now....Update Jim, if your assumption that "everytime" a parts order gets screwed up I get pissed you would find yourself wrong. Thanks for your help about letting me know I can deal with it next week. Never thought of that.

Bolt is stock. Banjo fitting is not wide enough. See my other post "extremely pissed" and you get the full explaination.

    Extremely pissed off right now.

Re: Extremely pissed off right now....Update Indy...so far since the current bolts never made contact with the new copper I am ok. There is (was) not a mark on them so the fronts are good. I will find out about the rears tomorrow. I have another post of the banjo bolt issue with a pic, check...

    Extremely pissed off right now.

Re: Extremely pissed off right now....Update On the front passenger side I looked closely at the banjo fitting. It looked good, then I checked to make sure it was torqued down and it was according to factory specs. I then got a pick to see if I could move the washers and YES they were loose...

My rant on the banjo fitting...a picture of the issue.

Decided to take a pic of the situation before I removed the SS lines. This is the banjo fitting removed and placed back on the stock (black) caliper. As you can see this is without a doubt a fitment problem. As I remove the others I will check to see if any of the others are like this. What...

    Extremely pissed off right now.

Unfortunately for me, this was the first time I have ever installed SS lines. I had assumed it would be a straightforward job. There are some other install problems with these lines that I did not go into on the rear as well. However those have nothing to do with potential for leaks or damage...

I hate to release that I until I get a chance to talk to him. However, if you are getting SS brake lines for Christmas PM me and I will tell you who this is from so you can check. I can also tell you how to check real easy before you WASTE freakin several HOURS putting this stuff on. When I...

    Extremely pissed off right now.

Well, as a Christmas present to myself decide to add some bling to the car with Yellow calipers (same as stock just powdercoated), new pad/rotors. I also figured why not add the SS brake lines as well. Started this little project on Thursday. Well that last part was a stupid call. First...

    Classic Car / Exotic Insurance

I use State Farm for everything. Viper was easy to insure. I told them how many miles I drive it per year and they based the rate on that. It is not my daily driver.
