can your genI beat this?

excellent numbers, chris. At 12% this translates to 427bhp and 506 ft lbs torque. Not all gen II engines do this well.

    can your genI beat this?

just dyno'd my 95 rt. It just hit 13000 miles and is all stock. Even the plug wires (and probably the plugs) are stock. results: 372.9 hp @5000 rpm 443.1ftlbs @ 3800 rpm In case you thinks the dyno was off, there were several stock gts dyno'ing right around 400hp +/- 5hp which is about...

    rocker arms

my favorite book is Chevrolet Camshafts and Valvetrains by Vizard. This guy is real smart. I've read the book about 10 times. For gear heads only! Weaker minds may explode.

Folks who have gone 11's or so stock ...

Re: Folks who have gone 11\'s or so stock ... Yeah, 12.20s sounds pretty good for the average 99 viper. This message has been edited by opnwide on May 04, 2001 at 21:48

Twin supercharger emissions legal performance package

let me know if you need any more genI cars to test this out on. This does sound fairly insane! I know a lot of single superchargers can't put out the airflow to support 488 ci, but procharger has some that can and they prefer to work with intercooling for even more power. Basically, the only...

What's the average rear wheel HP on a stock '94?..

Re: What\'s the average rear wheel HP on a stock \'94?.. I haven't dynoed my 95 yet, but I've been watching others' dyno reports carefully. My best estimate (all dynos are different) would be 354 rwhp for 94 and 95. It looks like you've done pretty well, but I wouldn't have used the borla...

What's your other car? (this might be fun)

Re: What\'s your other car? (this might be fun) 1972 Corvette I was running AFR heads, Comp cam, etc and had about 425hp. I am now trying to sort out a Procharger under hood supercharger. I am hoping for about 650 hp. Yes, I'll probably be rebuilding the shortblock soon. Future mods...

    Heavy Breathing! Exhaust Questions

With all of this talk of high flow cats and stock exhaust systems, I have another question. I, too, would like to put high flow cats and muffflers on my RT/10, but I don't want to spring for the headers just yet. Can I get a 3" flexible coupler to go with my cats or do I have to wait until I...

    Yellow '95's with Tan Interior

Re: Yellow \'95\'s with Tan Interior Grey interior? Really? Most of the yellows I've seen had tan interior. Most Vipers in 95 (the blacks and reds) do have the grey interior. Mine has the camel(tan) interior.

    last 300 side exhaust

My 95 viper is number 1454 out of some 1550 Vipers made this year. This should make it easily one of the last 300 side exhaust cars, but I can't find any stamping? Am I looking in the wrong place, or was it accidentally left off? I am assuming the serial numbers are more or less sequential.

    hard core cam specs

Does anyone know what the stock cam specs are for a Gen I vs. Gen II engine? Somebody from SCVA told me the duration was [email protected]". This can't be true. Crower claims the stock GTS cam at 288/292, 212/219 @ .050", .504/.532 w/1.7 rockers (but the GTS has 1.6 rockers so lift should be ~...
