I believe they were built as part of the ALMS racing cage setup (circa 1998). I'll see if I can find a pic. It's awesome -- and if I didn't have to cut the heck out of the firewall to do it, I would!
Don't let all the negative comments posted on the forums dash your spirits. We understand there are a load of people on the SRT team that have made massive commitments to the Gen 5 project (and 4, 3, 2, and 1). While the release of the new car is a triumph, you will never be able to appease...
He may be right, but I would double-check MTGTS's answer regarding a Gen2 intake on a Gen 1 engine. The reverse cooling puts the thermostat housing and crossover on the firewall-side of the engine... I'm not sure it will work but I have been wrong before! There's a number of folks that could...
The Gen2 hood has a provision for an opening under the NACA duct. I don't believe the Gen1 box fits under a gen2 hood (and I've had each combination fitted on my car, but cannot for the life of me, remember clearly). Call Jon Brobst and have him give you a "brain dump" on the differences -- he...
That is why selecting the right pad for the application is so important. Each driver has unique habits and the small differences in temperature, pedal feel, initial bite, etc... result in dramatically different experiences. Experiment with some of the choices recommended by the more...
Dang! Just threw one away. Sorry -- I hope you can find one soon, although the weather over there probably won't cooperate for a few months.
Good luck. I will ask around.
Oh yeah -- These are the 96 engines the dealers were selling for $5500 shipped in 2006. I guess if you guys have the last of Dodge's stock it makes sense to mark them up by that much.

2) Maybe...
If you are trying to log into the current Parts Rack site using a name and password from the "old" site, it will not work. It looks like the new system does not have the old user data. I just made a new account and everything's great.

I've replaced the batteries in mine twice now and never had any trouble with it. Car was definitely unlocked when I changed the batteries but that would certainly have no effect on the alarm in the car; the FOB and alarm module are not, "in constant contact." Maybe if you change the battery in...
Re: Website problems
Since they did the last BB upgrade I've had trouble with cookie persistence; I have to regularly log in multiple times to "wake" the site up.
I am SO happy to see Grand Prix in the US... I was supposed to go to that race with a good friend but he (very unexpectedly) died a few weeks ago.
Have a great time and be sure to post pics!
Ordered a set of Axxis Ultimate pads for my Stoptech BBK, ummm, 17 hours ago.
Pads are in my hands.
LESS THAN 1 DAY SHIPPED AND DELIVERED!
Thanks,
Mike
I've got a Gen IV trans in mine (96 RT/10). Needed to add a ring for the speedo and switch out the U-joints. Like butter!
Todd Abrams at A&C Performance did the work and it was surprisingly affordable.
