1996 RT-10 to GTS Hood Swap?

The swap has already been accomplished very nicely but my question is will the RT10 airbox still fit/work or do I need the GTS airbox or will they both work just fine? The car came without an airbox. Thanks.

Are you looking for fit or function? I believe a gen 1 will fit but the gen 2 will function correctly.

The Gen2 hood has a provision for an opening under the NACA duct. I don't believe the Gen1 box fits under a gen2 hood (and I've had each combination fitted on my car, but cannot for the life of me, remember clearly). Call Jon Brobst and have him give you a "brain dump" on the differences -- he won't let you down!
