well ill be hounest with ya. there isone guy i know who has them and he swares by them. maybe his brake were really really poor and thats probably why the ebc work for him. who knows. ill try them out and see what hapens.
What i really dont know is if im paranoid. my hood and bumper dont...
well i just got new ebc rotors and pad. im just waiting to bed them in and then see whats going to happen. i really dont care about brake dust either. i really dont want to rear end someone. your right REDSLED. but im going to try out the ebc red she what happens.
how do u adjust the spacing between your hood and your bumper on the outside where the lights are. basically above the side markers. is there a bracket inside the bumper assembly where it could be adjsted up and down.
i think im missing something here. ebc pads are worse than stock? thats outragouse. why did i buy them then??? well the original owner of my car drilled holes in the stock rotors. Cross drilled them. and the things were really warped. i mean really warped. the pads had 3 1 cm lines...
i see. thats fair enough. i understand the bite for the dust. but the brakes dont stop really. they are worse than stock. but there getting better. how long after u change pads and rotors do the brakes start to fully work? because right now there basically is no brakes
this is something that i wanted to try. i hared that ebc greensin the front ware fast. 80 percent of braking is in the front 20 in the back. the car is very heavy. will front pad will heat up quick. just something i want to experience. thats all. maybe ill be changing them soon...maybe ill...
i got ebc red stuff for the front and the green for the back. i didnt get the bedding procedures in the box. weired. do u know?? or i will just check the website
no i figured it out. for the front breaks came a wire. something i didnt need. now the rear brake pads came with little clips like bent bobby pins. but those are for other car makes. not needed for the viper.
how do i bed the brakes
Thank you, i cut them off. Now iknow this is a stupid question. what what so u do so u can bed the brakes properly????? am i suppoosed to do any do's or dont's????????
Sorry guys. i remember this post but cant find it. Did the search.
i got the pads and there is a wire on the pads for the front brakes. do cut it off. have a gen 1. If i matters The rears pads come with 4 litle clips. Does anyone know what the clips are for. i dont want to miss anything...
