    Ceramic Coating the Entire Exhaust?

I have B&B headers, with 3 in. stock cats and Borla Cat backs. I had the headers and all side sill pipe 2000 deg. JetHot coated. The sills are cooler but the heat did move to the rear pipe where it is uncoated. I had to put heat shields on the pipe next to the differential. I still don't...

    Rear Axle Oil Change Questions

I did the write-up several years ago and all of my friends here in Denver have made the change to the drain plug with no regrets. It's now a lot easier to drain all of the fluid. With the pump, you were never sure if you had pulled it all out. Jerry Scott

Side Sill Screw Popped Out-----Need Replacement/Fix

If you decide to go the rivet nut and machine screw method, make sure that you clench the nut all the way. If you only partially clench it, you will find that it may spin when trying to drive the screw. Clinching this nut takes a fair of grip on the tool handles with both hands. Try one on a...

UGH! Pffft/Pssst noise diagnosis help/comments appreciated

It's likely a gasket leaking on the Belanger headers. Put the car on jack stands and allow the exhaust to cool over-night. Start the engine and check each junction by placing your hand near each bolted joint. Do this before the exhaust gets hot. You should be able to feel where it is leaking...

    Fuel system cleaner

I have used B&G 44K on all my cars in the past to clean up injectors, fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator. It's a bit expensive, but does a great job, in my opinion. I have had no problems with O2 sensors with this product. Jerry

Looking for a Factory Exhaust Systems

The stock cats are worth a few bucks since they are stainless and can be used on other cars. They also can be opened to 3 inches to go with a cat back system. I doubt that anyone is giving them away. JS

Re: Other than the Viper, what exotic car holds it\'s value well? I agree with tzoid. Until you have enough put away to buy the car with cash, put your money into something that will surely make you money. Real estate is hot right now especially in your area. When you make a fortune there...

Oil consumption on the track, is it normal?

Here's a picture of a puke can that will fix the problem for agressive track driving. KenH is right about hard braking causing oil from the valve covers to flow forward and into the air filter. This can will catch the oil and vent the covers to atmosphere. You will have to drain the oil out of...

    Hurst Shifters versus B&M Shifters

    Coming Soon...

Be sure to test both versions, (with scoop and without scoop) at high speeds, with and without side windows. You'll want to make sure that it will stay on the car, near top speed of 190 mph. My guess is that you may have problems when side windows removed, with wind forces trying to lift it off...

    Need gaskets for Belanger exhaust

If you want the two bolt flange, I could search my records to find the NAPA gasket that I used. I tried several that burned out, but this one has held for several years. As for the 3 bolt gasket, I used a solid copper one that I will also have to search for, but is holding well. I'll have to...

    transmission fluid question

In my opinion, you will likely find the NGR with the Dex. III to be very noisy when the transmission gets hot. I would go with the Mopar Synthetic Manual or you will likely wind up doing it twice. Otherwise, the noise will drive you nuts after a while.
