Do you work on your car or have the pros do it ? By work I am referring to non internal motor work like heads, headers, blowers and any other upgrades or replacement of broken parts.
Here are some pics of the progress the shop sent me. It wiil be a whole new piece not a wrap. This is the prototype mold and the finished piece will be made of 2x2 twill.
Treesnake, whats the fit like on those replacment auto meter gauges ? Do you know if they are using the factory wiring/sensors ? They look to all be electric so that made me corious.
Thanks. I have read too many threads on gauge mounts and people using heat guns to mod them only to end up with something that hits their hands when turning. I hope this will be a better answer for us 3rd gen folks with boost.
Ok here is the mock up with the lower rear specks defined, meaning they can not be any lower or further towards the windshield than this mock up. It will ship off Monday and be back the late following week.
Ok that settles it , down low they go ! I think this will better suit us and keep the gauges out of the way of our heads while trying to get in and our hand when driving like we should. Thank you to everyone who voted and slung me info. I will mock up a template tonight and send it off monday...
No, but I am having a company make mine as a prototype and they will keep the mold so you can order through them. Im not out for the $ , just a gauge solution for my Paxton car that dosent look like it was a after thought.

I have something in the works that will be made of real carbon fiber and will be on the pillar out of the way of the steering wheel so you dont bang your hands on it when turning.
Congrats and your about to get banned posting something like this without pictures ! Im glad you already have your first mod picked out. Throw some PS2s or equivalent tire on there before you swap ends. :D Be safe and respect the torque !
Sorry, it was copy and paste..
But in the guys defense chauffeured is a pretty big word and there is nothing worse than explaining to someone reading your shirt that you are indeed making fun of them...
I can see it now on the corvette forum.

This question it to anyone that has swapped out to some lighter rotors. Can you actually feel the difference in agility, stopping and acceleration ? I know the Porsche guys are always talking about he carbon brakes making such a difference which has led me to thinking of maybe loosing a little...
